I'll never get over old-school Lara, yes she was way less realistic but why would she have to be? I love my cold-hearted bitch without feelings or remorses. 

I don't know how she'll survive this fall though but I trust her to find a way, with the right combination of jumps and rolls...

His name is Batsu and he keeps drawing portraits of his friends -as well as covering me with compliments, yep, I'm venal like that.

For once I though it would be nice if he were the one drawn by someone else, so here's a little picture of him to thank him for his support -in social justice areas as well, not just in the art field-.^^

Bad boys do it well

Hey what's with this new trend? Is this blog slowly turning into some kind of alternadudes annex or what?

I don't know why I'm in the mood for inked, pierced rockers these days but it seems I need some teenage rebellion - gosh, my immaturity is showing! Anyway, here, have three dirty guys taking a selfie.

(If you didn't know about Alternadudes, I didn't tell you about it. *cough* It could be summed up as Suicide Girls meet Gay Porn.)

Metal versus Hip-Hop

Are you tired of this old "metal versus hip-hop" argument? Musical communitarianism has always annoyed me, as if loving one prevented you from liking the other and vice-versa. I never understood what the big deal was.

So today the ditch is gone, and what's better than two hot dudes to bury the hatchet?

And to break the stereotypes a bit more, there's also a bearish version. Yes these two were real clichés...

... and I feel the need to remind us despite the lack of visibility there are a lot of people of color in metal and they are underrepresented.

(I can personally recommend, among maaany others, Leng Tche', a Belgian death-grind band with a very charismatic singer who sure knows how to heat a crowd ~saw him live, he's awesome!~, the famous Orphaned Land from Israel, or the powerful Brujeria psychos from Mexico.)

So let's stop this neverending war and when we are asked which is better between rock/metal and rap/hip-hop, let's just remember that...

Cybearpunk

I recently told you with my "Fall" picture that I missed drawing bears and needed to add more bears to my catalogue. Well, here's a new one, coupled to one of my favorite kind of universes: cyberpunk. I loosely based the first sketch on a picture of a bear I had in my folders but it turned out like a futuristic version of my boyfriend... woops!

 There is no law that forbids bears from wearing the same ridiculously sexual skin tight suits as women and sci-fi twinks, right? And if there's one well... I'm breaking it with pleasure! As you can guess from the island in a bubble and the little "cable car", this is a possible future San Francisco. With several planets in the background.

As I kept repeating myself during the process, this is a pure coincidence, and indeed it is but I can't believe how much he looks like my boyfriend. My subconscious is trying to tell me something... but what?
