Seahorse's heir - long days of labor...

 I hesitated, should I post this picture here or not because it represents a kid? The laws are kind of a gray area but well... let's say it's okay. I wanted to draw a merman of color and thought, why not making him even more interesting than a basic merman and make him a seahorse? I know, there were other ways to make it more interesting -^^- but I wanted the picture to look good in a regular fantasy portfolio.

 So I drew a proud seahorse and his baby, that as every one of you know, he gave birth to himself. I thought it was a nice way to create a father/child bond in a fantasy setting. In the end I'm really glad of the way they look at each other. I hope I managed to create a "connection" between them. (Also, I harmonized the father's proportions because his head was really weird at first.)

Almost done! I thought I was going to end here but the boy -mine, I mean- told me something was off, that it lacked the kind of perspective you can find underwater. It's true that it's a bit too "clean".

So, rays of light coming from the surface, make the detailed background you had painted a little blurrier, several layers of shadows to make the background disappear in the dark and eventually proud papa told me he wanted to blow bubbles to entertain his kid... pfeeeeeew finished! Or is it?

The size of your sin...

For once a little something different, still porny though. I wanted to make a short porn comic that would be straight but more "women friendly" than the majority of porn productions. In comics, peasants don't rape nuns, nuns rape peasants... ~which was kinda already the case, psychologically speaking... ^^"~

Keeper of the booty

I don't know how much time I spent on this painting but as you can guess, it was long. Looooong. I wanted to show a warrior (that ended up being a Targaryen from ASOIAF) sharing a special moment with his dragon. -Nah I know this blog is usually dirty but please, keep your hand on the desk!-

And since anatomy is better shown naked... I had to make a nude version, obviously ! Actually, I made the naked version first then added clothes to be able to put it in my "proper" portfolio. ^^"

 I spent a ridiculous amount of times on the scales, then an even more ridiculous amount of time on the gold pile. But I came to like the general atmosphere. I'll never be grateful enough for Youtube and its load of stupid documentaries about gangs, crimes and prostitution, racism, politics and religion. They kept me awake during those long hours smoothing scales. XD

And the finally version where all the attention is not drawn to the dragon, how strange is that?

Back to the roots

For some reason my sketches and I aren't really friends these days. :/ Shucks! Look at this bastard, he struggled, not letting me sketching him! I'm the artist, I'm the one in charge, dammit!

Anyway I came back to one of my first passions, harem boys. Wanted to try some new coloring stuff and I lost myself in the moucharabieh in the background. This kind of design is hypnotic and relaxing at the same time.

Hawkeye Initiative

Did you guys hear about the Hawkeye Initiative? To sum up, here's the original quote that started it all :

"How to fix every Strong Female Character pose in superhero comics: replace the character with Hawkeye doing the same thing."  -Gingerhaze 

I love this initiative because it reveals the ridiculousness of female characters "development" through over sexualized poses and situations, a.k.a doing everything to show boobs and asses when it's not necessary at all. So I gave it a try and...

... this is what I came up with... which actually doesn't change very much from what I usually draw, because HEY if you take all the "super-heroines" poses and make them done by a dude, you get precisely what I always do. Gay porn.

So no, I don't mind drawing gay porn at all -XD- but this is significantly representative of the mainstream comic industry that changes every feminine character into soft-porn models -but not boys because duh, no homo!-...

Soft Aza, warm Aza, little ball of cum...

So, still trying to tame this digital painting thing -oh how I look like someone who knows what they're talking about! XD- and since portraits are very challenging I needed a model. After finally reading Camili-Cat: Love Lost that I absolutely adored, I decided to play with Aza again. Ah, that Tolarian will be the end of me!

Bottom Steve

I've been practising digital painting for about one month now and sure it's not perfect but I'm glad I'm getting a bit better. As you can guess there are many things I couldn't show on Facebook in this picture. And for some other blogs I made a "censored" version, something less porny... no cum, no balls. :/ No fun!
