Mali Ouda Azade ? No, no don't worry I'm not trying to put a strange oriental spell on you, it's just the name of DinosaurPrince's brand new boy. You can see his version of the character development at his blog !

This young fella -or should I say fellah ? ^^- is a magician who tries his best but... the carpet seems a little bit reluctant. He's got donkey tail and ears.

You can easily spot he was, of course, strongly inspired by Disney's Aladdin but we tried to do something a bit different.

For the first time on a commission I used this new technique I started to experiment a few months ago... trick but it ass a bit of sensuality to the sexy boy... ah, I always loved the 1001 Nights ! ^^

The Walking Dead !

If you know Dinosaur Prince and me a little bit, you know one of our guilty pleasures since last year is the TV show The Walking Dead ; with the winter hiatus (and after what we SAW at the end of the last episode) we needed some compensation for the frustration and Matthew commissioned me to draw an illustration of Rick and Shane in a risky situation.

We wondered for a second if Shane would have his normal fluffy hair or his shaved head (which would have made him more recognizable) but when he shaved his hair, he kinda symbolized the loss of his humanity and started acting like a real bastard so fluffy hair was more logical if he was supposed to actually help Rick. Matthew decided to change the position of Shane's arm so we could see his tasty abs and chest. ^^ The flower in the zombie's head comes from an illustration created by Fallen Angel (and I think we can guess the "Plants Vs. Zombies" influence here !).

Then I tried something a little different for the lineart, kind of an homage to the good old black and white spooky comics like Tales From The Crypt... just because I know The Walking Dead was a comic book before a TV show and even if I've never read it, I guess it's one hell of a creepy comic book ! ^^

However I have to admit it was completely different from what I usually draw and Matthew was disappointed because he obviously expected something more "cute" and "cartoon", in my usual style. He didn't think I'd draw such a dark picture and while I decided to try to match the zombie apocalypse atmosphere, he expected a contrast between my light and cute artwork and The Walking Dead's horror.

So here's a second version of the scene, freed from all of the black areas, in a style that is more "traditional" for me. It's a lighter atmosphere and it brings more hope (and Shane's cock is really nice, don't you think ?).

Still, we decided to show both versions because it was interesting to see the creative process and the decisions that were made for these illustrations. ^^

Chocolate, vanilla and... fish ?

You barely see it on this blog but today, for something a bit different, here are a bunch of sketch commissions I did for the same lovely cetacean Jyan ! But for once, you can stay if you don't like vaginas because it's a 100% boy on boy action post.

Starting with a hunky spotted dolphin and a (naturally accurate) chubby beluga. It was pretty tricky to put a dolphin's head on a human body, especially a muscular one... well ok, with cetacean anthros adding shoulders to a normally hydrodynamic frame is the ultimate difficulty. But Mr.Dolphin doesn't seem to mind, just like Mr.Beluga.

So it seems they decided to go further. Underwater 69, perhaps I would try if I could breathe in the sea ! ^^ Got inspired by the yin and yang symbol to make a circular composition and show some complementarity in their bodies.

Sucking a bit harder because after all, better enjoy all the possibilities of anthro bodies, right ?

Finally I reduced a bit the beluga's man boobs because it felt a little bit weird (I liked them though ! :p).

And last but not least, Jyan made me give a try at drawing his character Vanilla and his best friend's, Chocolate, two sweet orcas who are complementary with their shapes and colors.

Seeing their names and kind of naughty bromance relationship I went for something very cute but suggestive, so they're sharing an ice cream -look at these little tongues out ! ^^-. Chocolate/vanilla ice-cream of course !

Don't they look lovely ? They deserve a sunset in the background. And Vanilla, as you can see, has got inverted colors... aren't they gonna be cute when colored ?

Rohan and Gondor unite

As I told you last time with my Aragorn/Sam fan art, I'm in a Lord Of The Rings mood these days. Perhaps I just need heroic fantasy, or I want to slice some throats, who knows ? I simply know that these books/movies are full of hot boys and that's enough for me.

One of my many OTPs of this fandom is Eomer/Faramir (next to Legolas/Gimli). Seriously, they're too hot together ! Blonde rider and shy redhead with daddy issues, that sounds so cliché, so sweet my teeth hurt. However, every occasion is good to make a gay illustration.

I pleased myself very much with Eomer's face... no I didn't *actually* please myself but at some point I seriously wondered if I'd do it. Even though the orgasmic sensation of drawing something better than you expected is much stronger and intense than sex. They both look younger than in the movies but who really cares ? I could have given Faramir real abs but when after the first sketch his belly looked like this, a bit like those of classic teenager statues and Greek heroes, I couldn't draw myself to change it. It seems soft and sweet : and I like it.

I wondered what kind of background I would do but the more efficient, my favorite kind, was this mixed-media style I recently experimented ; first I draw the landscape on watercolor paper and slightly mark the lights and shadows with grey tones. Then I scan it and color it on Photoshop while keeping the texture of the paper and painting. It soften the cold digital coloring and gives it a nice and melancholic traditional touch.

Finally, mix both pictures, play a bit with contrast, colors, levels and all this sh*t and get...

SMOOCH !

Orca and Nursehound - Underwater

Oh well, Blogger changed his system, you can see Google's damned influence ! >< Sorry if this post doesn't look great, I'll try my best to get used to the new interface.

So, here's a new commission I did for Jyan, I think you recognized the atmosphere. Still, our naughty orca and his nursehound girlfriend going at it under the moonlight -and underwater by the way. Some of you might think "What ? Straight furs again ?" but don't worry, a batch of gay sketches are on their way ! ;)

In case you were wondering what's going to happen, we decided to fully enjoy every step of the game with small inside views of the action. Seems like Miss is in a playful mood today. I had fun drawing her curves in this position, I imagine she's very flexible.

Arranging some anatomy details because the orca's neck didn't look really right. Then, we reduced a little bit the size of his head and added some lines next to her to she she's moving closer to him.

Can't believe before that step I forgot the huge fin on the orca's back ! >< I was so focused on (and pleased by) his muscular back that I forgot such an important detail. Fortunately, even if it hid a bit of his back we still can enjoy the view of his butt.

As you can tell I'm not used to drawing inside views, especially not straight but it's fun... and in the end the pink of their flesh add a really nice colored touch, it naturally made a nice balance with the overall blue atmosphere. Makes you wanna sing "Can you feel the love tonight ?", right ? ^^

Now we need some heroic fantasy in our lives !

Two lil' heroic fantasy pictures I recently doodled for practising.

Coming from me, a white mohawked barbarian with a stretched earlobe is really too predictable, I know, I know... but if you gotta practice muscles and anatomy, let's make it a little bit compatible with your preferences. :)

Even if he doesn't look like him at all, I wanted to give him asian eyes so he could look a bit like a fantasy version of a Hun warrior, but with his long stick and his position he reminds me of Chang in Disney's movie Mulan. "Let's get down to business..."

White mohawk, one white eye... he could almost be a character from an old post-apoc' movie from the 80's. XD

And now for something a bit different ! I don't know why but these days the internet is shivering with anticipation seeing the first pictures of upcoming movie "The Hobbit" and the good old LOTR fandom is resurfacing. I see things that used to make my way too romantic heart beat hard. And I saw a small funny picture on Tumblr that suggested a relationship between Aragorn and Sam Gamgee... that's enough to make my imagination race and I fell for these two together. They'd be a sweet and hot couple, don't you think ?

Absolutely no resemblance with the actors, 'cause Sean Astin is way too sexy to be drawn... *drools* He's always been my favorite hobbit, I thought he was the hottest, the cutest and definitely the one I wanted in my bed. I was in high school and, as we were art class kids, the Lord of The Rings was main part of all our discussions when it was released but when my friends asked "So who's your favorite hobbit ? Pippin, Merry, Frodo ?" I always said Sam and got strange looks and words such as "But he's fat !". That's when I understood not only was it difficult to be a fat girl, but it was even more shameful to be attracted to chubby boys. However, I don't care now, I know what I like to touch in bed and I love it when there's a lot to eat !

The most challenging part of this fan art (other than the fact that I'm coming home from a week of holiday and two badass concerts) was to give Sam an adult enough look so with the size difference he wouldn't remotely be confused with a kid.

Well, yeah, holiday season is officially open even if, for me, I have to say it starts on October, 20th. The day after my birthday is the moment when I stop thinking about me and start thinking about Christmas presents for my loved ones. Anyways, every year is a new occasion to create Christmas pinups and here the first one. Yeah, a Santa cub.

Usually, Santas are daddies but I don't know why, I wanted something a little different. I was probably craving for a nice bottom with a smooth belly.

And after collecting several ref' pictures I decided he wouldn't be hard. Because when you draw porn all the time, you see so many fully erect cocks that flaccid ones become nearly more interesting and exotic ! ^^ I said "nearly" ! And soft cocks are cute...

I think I'm totally ready for Christmas. The question is, will Santa Cub come through the back door or will he take it through ? I still don't know what to choose...

Twilight 5 : Ejaculation

Haha yes you read well... Twilight ! I wasn't sure at first, when Matthew asked me if I wanted to draw a Twilight picture because I pretty much suck at portraits. Told him I wouldn't really make characters that look like the actors but he didn't mind ; then the lovely Fallen Angel insisted (yeah, that happened on Facebook ^^") saying it would be also interesting to see them in my style even if it wasn't very realistic so I forgot my hesitations and went for it.

One other thing to know is that I've never read the Twilight saga, nor saw the movies. I started to watch the first movie but I don't know, the atmosphere was disturbing, cold, it felt too teenage angst for me, I didn't feel comfortable so I stopped. Not that I thought it wasn't good, I just felt a little uncomfortable. I guess that's the point of the movie, or I'm just a sissy.

I have to admit however that if Edward seemed cold and not really sexy to me (y'know I'm not that much into thin pale guys ! XD), Jacob had... interesting assets ! Hey, not my fault, I always had a thing for guys who were designed with curves and his face is round and soft, I dig that.
I had fun drawing him and he turned out one of my hottest guys for now.

But the detail that really got me was when Dino told me his idea : Edward releasing sparkly cum ! Seriously, ain't that brilliant ? XD It's nice to draw sexy pictures that can also make you laugh.

Orca and nursehound

If you liked the previous post about a hot orca stud, you'll be more than happy to know he got himself a girl... and what a girl ! Yes, I'm obviously talking about another illustration commissioned by Jyan... as you can guess it was about time that his orca stopped being so lonely.

We discussed for a long time about his potential mates and eventually picked for him a nursehound. They're some kinds of small sharks with lovely spotted skins. I suggested this species among others because I thought spots would look sexy on a girl and Jyan said we should go for it.

As you can see I tried two poses to match Jyan's idea. He preferred the second one and if at first I wasn't sure of myself, it eventually was the best option.

Adding tails, and hands and oh my gosh, too many fingers ! That part was a mess but we could understand something was definitely going on between her legs.

The tongue I drew the first time was too round and large so I changed it to make it look more realistic. Also added a pair of pelvic fins around the lady's parts ~that, for recreational purposes we kept kinda human, because his thumb looked really good on her clit~ and some lovebites on her shoulder.

On detailed sketches like this one, the inking is a real relief. That's also the problem of working with light tables, you don't clean your messy sketches and it often becomes full of unreadable lines.

I really had fun drawing her spots and the warm atmosphere induced by the fire is one of my guilty pleasures. Jyan suggested they should have some water drops and wet spots (other than "this one") to show they just had a shower or just came out of the sea. In the end it adds some sensuality to the scene.

I truly hope you like them because I've heard you could see more action... and have really dirtier visions. ;)

Happy Halloween !

Celebrating Halloween in France is a bit like celebrating an ancient Maya ritual in USA... it never happens ! Oh well yes, there are a few slutty parties here and there where you can get drunk in totally inappropriate clothes "just because it's Halloween" but it's more of a carnival than a real celebration ; it's not about the trick or treating, not about the candies or the scary stuff. (Some kids do however go trick or treating and are often very disappointed so I let you guess how great that was for those two little girls I welcomed at my door once with my rat on my shoulder. They were frightened and so excited ! ^^) There's absolutely no "spirit of Halloween" in here. For a few years you could find Halloween stuff, decorations, make-up in several shops but now they don't even make advertisements for it. No more webs and paper pumpkin in the supermarkets... *sigh*

This is why, every year, the only ones that set me in the mood are my online friends from USA and Canada. It's so amazing when, in the beginning of September, all of the Frenchies are like "Blah, going back to school/work sucks !" and overseas you guys are all like "Halloween season just started, yay !". Among these friends, the two more enthusiastic I know are Dinosaur Prince and Patrick Fillion. Even if they like to draw big cocks, they remain little boys when it comes to Halloween. Here's a modest short comic as a gift to thank them for sharing their excitation with me.

Dino's more emblematic Halloween character is the dark and hot Belvadar but for once I decided to lay my hands on his brand new transparent stud, Jasper Edward Walldenbury. Naughty boy seems to enjoy going through walls and surprise people. Jacko the Halloweener, Patrick's super sexy pumpkin boy, was the poor victim this time. He shouldn't have been so cocky !

Will we save Willy ?

Working for furries is definitely not the same as more "traditional" commissioners but I have to say I like it ! ^^ I was proved it once again with this picture I did for the lovely Jyan.

Of course drawing anthros is way more challenging than drawing humans, especially when they're from species I don't draw much. Like killer whales for example... it's always hard to find the right balance between human and animal characteristics.

But it's something you just can't refuse, I love sea animals and we can't deny black and white whales are sexy ! I was more than happy to oblige.

And what I like the most about commissioners from the furry fandom is that they know exactly what they want ! I think I've never started a drawing for a furry without having many details on the position, the anatomy, the mix between the human and animal sides of the character. And it may sound normal but believe me, in conventions it literally changes my life to know what the dragon exactly looks like or what the elephant is supposed to do to the human ! ^^"

As you can see, mister orca had his appearance changed a few times but it was for the best.

Now he's a hot surfer killer whale waiting for a mate who should come soon. :)

Stretching on the beach

I'm very glad to show you this new commission I did for Odie, because as challenging as it sounded, everything came up perfectly very fast.

Stretch, one of his original characters, is a contortionist. When he told me that I immediately went back to my anatomy books, a little scared.

But I don't even have many sketches to show you because Odie was satisfied with the pose from the very first scribble ! I was nearly disappointed that it had been so easy. ;)

To add some "spice" to the cute beach I suggested a town and some buildings to make a simple yet alive background. Odie loved it so we kept the idea.

And the colored version... as you can guess, a tanned hot guy with blond goatee and dreadlocks, this was like candy for the illustrator I am ! :) Thanks a lot Odie for this opportunity.

Dinosaur Prince's love for Halloween is always a great occasion to draw exciting, funny (and challenging !) commissions. ^^ He knows I love Halloween but the frenchies will know what I mean, here this holiday is kinda dead. :/ Nobody celebrates, that's really annoying. So Dino's commissions always help me getting in the mood !

Here is Dinosaur Prince's little story : "Late one night before Halloween, Belvadar snuck into the bed chambers of the Headless Horsemen. While said party was otherwise 'engaged', our hero replaced his flaming pumpkin top with one of plastic. Belvadar then jumped on Zalus back to make quick his escape. Unfortunately the two were found out. The specter gave chase, all the while wearing the wrong set of clothes! What was he doing in that room, that occupied him so? Only the shadows on the wall know, but I think these clothes are a good indication...
Zalus speed was no match for the horsemen. He quickly feel behind and gave up the chase. This year he would not terrorize innocents with fire and smoke. Maybe this year he will cool it a bit and enjoy some trick, or treating instead. After over 200 years, maybe it's time he had a little fun on Halloween. :)"

Tricky centaur ! I had a hard time but a lot of fun drawing him bucking.

I admit I couldn't help giving his tail some Art-Nouveau look.

The hardest part with night scenes is to find the light. Since I wanted the scene to be spooky but joyful and entertaining I had fun with the smoke coming out of the chimney. Who knows what's going on in this house ?

Thaddeus Thunderbird Jones

Here are some steps of a pretty exciting commission I just did for Odie (IMHO a really great and pleasant commissioner to work with, I totally recommend him !). It is his bad ass original character Thaddeus "Thunderbird" Jones and since it seems known that I love drawing hot chocolate boys, Odie asked me to play with him.

As you can see, it's all about the 70's so it necessitated of course a huuuge... afro haircut !

Notice the white powder... it's sugar ! ^^ We both wanted him to be a naughty boy but not that much !

I tend to listen to the right music to get inspired when I draw so you can easily guess my playlist was a mix of Boney M and Jimi Hendrix. And what a nice "watchtower" do we have here, said the Joker to the Thief !

Flashy colors, hey, it's supposed to be disco ! First time I have the occasion to add a lava lamp on a drawing. And a pink fluffy carpet.

Summertime... or not ?

How funny that I drew this illustration because it smelled good summer just when summer disappeared ! Well I don't know how it is where you're from but here in France, it's pretty cold. You can't believe it's July. Anyways, this sweet bum is gonna warm you up, or I hope so !

First sketch... yeah I recently discovered col-erase pencils and after trying the babes for two minutes I was like "How the hell could I ever live without them ?". They're my new addiction ! I wanted to draw a surfer with tanned skin and dreadlocks... he ended up a bit more Ronon looking that I wished but well, not that I mind ! ^^

As you can see I removed the sun. It didn't seem really good, graphically speaking. I mean a big bright yellow globe would have been weird in the composition. And I made a "wavy" effect at the bottom of the page, on his legs and the tree, so it looked a bit like the blurry effect you can see on landscapes when it's really really hot outside, you know, like a mirage.

In the end I added the big white lines and the shadow behind the composition to make it look like it's pasted on the background, as a postcard for example. Except this sunscreen is really obscene. I wish I could find such postcards on the beaches ! XD

"Captain ? Captain, do you read me ?"

The story behind this illustration is quite... "funny" in a pretty ironic way. Earlier this month I went to a festival and met an editor to show her my illustrations. At first I was supposed to try to see three different people, so I wanted to make a general portfolio that could suit every kind of stories. But eventually I only got the opportunity to meet one so I decided to prepare my portfolio especially for her... silly me ! The woman only had published sci-fi books for the moment and I didn't have a single sci-fi illustration. I felt sooo bad ! (Anyways, it wasn't really a problem since she said she wanted to launch a new heroic fantasy series but at first I was awkward.)

So I thought, coming back home, that I needed to be more organized and have a bit of sci-fi in my portfolio. But y'know it's always tricky... it's not that easy to think "draw something science-fiction" and to do it ! Eventually this dude appeared all by himself...

Mourning knight

Just a regular fantasy illustration (with tiny boobs in it ^^) but since it has a hot boy in it, and the mixed-media was interesting, I felt like sharing.

Sorry I don't have the big sketch anywhere on my computer, but here's the most important part. ^^

The knight's face expression became more serious with the inking. He's mourning someone after all...

That's a kind of dangerous bet, to go for a watercolor painted background... personally, I enjoy the result ! Of course it needed a few touches up on Photoshop to look good with the rest of the picture.

Here's a new picture -well, "new"... you might have seen it on the Y! a while ago now but I've been quite busy so no time to post it on the blog- commissioned by the always generous Dinosaurprince for his friend (and great artist) Aneros' birthday.

Dinosaurprince let us pick the characters we wanted to do, since we were a bit in a hurry, and there were several fanart opportunities but I preferred to honor Aneros' original characters, a trio of hot Mardi Gras boys with very cool outfits (or lack of ! XD)...

Since we were going for a kind of New-Orleans atmosphere, I decided to frame the boys with the floral ornaments you can find on the balconies of Bourbon Street and pretty old-school areas in the city. They're a pain in the crack to draw but the result is always so fancy ! ^^

And ink these bitches... talking about the Art-Nouveau ornaments, not the boys !

Do we all agree ? The pink butt cheeks are the cutest and most arousing part of this illustration, riiight ? ^^ In the end I truly hope Aneros enjoyed receiving it as much as I had fun drawing it !

Zebra centaurs rule...

Zebra centaurs rule, I always knew it. Black zebra centaurs even more. But add a white mohawk and it's like one of my greatest fantasies ever ! As I said to Dinosaurprince when he told me his project, I may sound like a real ass-licker but I LOOOVE it ! (And the cute zebra unicorn ain't bad either !)

Well no, it's complete cheating actually but I like these results ! My first try at fake-vector boys was a bear -because it's been too long since I've drawn bears !- gladiator -blame Spartacus : God of the Arena for this...-.

Then a demon, of course. It's been a while too.

Looong time no blog, aye, I know, it's not like I've been busy as hell after all ! ^^" Anyways, because we all need our dose of testosterone, here's the last batch of illustrations I drew that can fit this blog, with sketches, WIP and all !

First, a little present for Dinosaurprince because by the beginning of September he learnt some bad bad news (me too, actually) and I though a little comfort would be needed. So here's Dino hugging Rikuo from Darkstalkers.

I picked Rikuo because among all of Dino's original characters I couldn't choose only one and thought it had been a long time since he commissioned some Rikuo illustration. Plus it was cute to imagine a totally fantastic character who doesn't look like a human hugging a real person.

I had to draw this piece with the only reference of a portrait picture Dino sent me once... as I'm not talented for portraits at all it was a double challenge. Fortunately, Dino recognized himself and thought it was super cute. ^^ He seemed really happy. Mission accomplished !

I thought due to his personal issues Dino wouldn't commission me for a long time, which wasn't a problem for me but sad but for him. But it looks like the boy can't live without art and fantasy ! ^^ So he asked me to have a take on his deliciously old school addiction : John Carter of Mars.

My only knowledge of John was through Frank Frazetta's paintings. You said "Frank Frazetta" ? I'm in ! -Will the arm move ?-

However, we got more inspired by the original comics than the paintings for this piece and I just looove the old smell of these comics, - yeah it does smell old even on a computer screen ! ^^ I tried to keep this special atmosphere, got all the details of the illustration from the comics. -Yeah the arm moved !-

The muscles are defined with big brush touches, as in the original comics when black was an entire part of the colors.

Aaand my very first pink sky ever ! I'm really proud of this color work, because I wanted it to look old school, wanted to go back to that time when printing colors was not easy, when comics were cheap and great at the same time ! Oh and I added some screentones too.

Well, yet another Mario / Luigi porn illustration because my previous one was a kinda great success but it was definitely getting old. I needed a new version !

Let me show you my brand new commission for Dinosaurprince. It all started in a very funny way, we were talking, by email, about everything and nothing, just giving each other some news, when I confessed I was feeling lazy and didn't want to clean my rattie's cage nor cook for tonight. Immediately, Matthew thought about what Bionic Commando could do between the two games : getting lazy on the couch, eating junk food and watching TV. And this is how it eventually turned out.

First sketch to catch the position. There's an old TV (cathodic screens are so charming !), some VHS on the couch, pizza, chips, pop-corn and he's raising a six-pack of Pepsi. For his face I had to take pictures of my boyfriend doing this position because I really didn't manage to find the right angle. ^^

Matthew wanted to add Rush from MegaMan so I thought a robot-dog could enjoy some pizza too ; the cans are lifted up from a small table where you can see wet spots, a NES and a roasted chicken leaking grease on the couch. Oh and of course, THE detailed bionic arm.

Removed one of the two controlers and added a Mc Donald's portion of fries because the chicken looked weird all by himself.

I honestly spend a loooong time on this arm but I really love it. I studied US comics inking on purpose to get the metal effect.

In the end, the arm is darker than I hoped but it's not that bad, what do you think ?

Bulgarian party - Krum, Krum, Krum !

It's kinda unsual but these illustrations are not posted on my adult website "Eroticute.net", they belong to my "all audiences" gallery on www.gaellec.com. But as it's about a stud, and I had some babbling to do about it, I decided to do a blog. -As if I actually had time for it ! u_u-

The context is : I'm drawing for a French fanzine about Harry Potter's universe, Obscurus Presse. The crazy girls are simply releasing the wizards' journals, as if they were real -and by real I mean now, in 2010, not in the 90's !-. Usually, I don't draw fanarts for them, but from time to time characters of the original saga are featured and when I saw Viktor Krum illustrations were available I jumped on it !

I love Harry Potter. Who doesn't ? However, I don't like the movies, they're too short, too many details are missing, I know they're trying their best but it's annoying. So I truly expected to hate the "Goblet of Fire" movie... that was until I saw Stanislav Ianevski as Viktor Krum. *__* Oh let me be a fangirl sometimes ! Stanislav, anywhere, everywhere... ok, ok, to the pics now !

For the new issue of Quidditch Mag', the girls needed a portrait of Viktor Krum and a full body piece. Remember that we're in 2010 and the Bulgarian honey is older now. I gave him a little longer hair and stubble, a rougher face too, because if he didn't stop playing Quidditch since the 90's he probably had some severe kicks in his face -I avoided the bruises and the broken nose though- and tried to keep his pouty lips and grumpy eyebrows.

For the full body picture I didn't want a typical pose. Krum doesn't have time for this bullshit, he doesn't pose for photographs ! If you want a photo, just try to catch him in the locker room. -Ha, "Viktor Krum" and "locker room" in the same sentence make you horny ? Yeah, me too. If he's nearly naked on this version of the sketch, it's that I didn't search for Quidditch clothes references yet. Reminds me, when I was a kid just starting to draw, I read an interview of a famous french comic artist who said he always drew the characters naked before adding the clothes. I was young and didn't realize it was much better for anatomy so I though "Pfff he's not forced, what a perv !"... and now I'm drawing porn.

In the magazine the photos will be separated but for my website it was better to show it this way. Finally, what do you think of his pose ? It's nearly pinup-like, the way he's pulling the knee pad up his leg like a garter.

The second picture is an old photo -read : in the 90's- of Krum fighting the Chinese Fireball. Epic, right ? Sometimes, I'm on Obscurus Presse private board for the staff and I say "Okay I'mma do this one !". Then in front of my white page I'm like "Why did you say that, idiot ? Why ?"... That's what happened here.

But I eventually managed to start doodling. I started with Krum in an acrobatic position, I wanted him to look like he was gonna fall, to add a thrilling dimension to the pic. Then I began with the dragon and surprisingly, it was the best part to do. When I was in high school, I had a dragons obsession for a while, precisely chinese dragons. I drew them all the time, inspired by the ones you find on the Chinese restaurants stuff. So it came back to my hand really easily and I enjoyed it.

More detailed sketch. Poor me, I had to watch that part of the movie again, just to catch Viktors outfit. I had to pause the video and make screencaps. What a torture ! <3 I asked the girls if they didn't mind a little teared clothes and they were ok -it has to stay work-safe after all !-. Yes I know we see his ass a little too much on this one but I hid it on the final version.

It didn't took me that long to color but I'm quite happy with the light effects, the orange reflections on the dragon and the fire he's blowing. I added the magic ray in the end, wasn't sure of the result but it turned out good. Okay, next time there will be naked boys ! Or maybe not... ^^"

Still no sketches, still coloring the pictures I doodled on my trip to Japan Expo.

Since I was in my best friend's house, with her family and little sister, I had to stay worksafe so the only long thing you'll see on Thot is his beak ! :} I'm glad I found a good balance between well defined muscles and the body type I really enjoy. Also, the background is real papyrus I modified a bit and added on Photoshop.

I love this one because it's a topic we barely see in illustrations. This dude is inspired by Dinka warriors, an african tribe of South Sudan were men wear gorgeous and colored beads corsets to seduce women. It was actually draw just for the corset ! ^^ Anyways, I'd celebrate the end of the World Cup with him with pleasure ! You might wonder how the hell I can think about corseted african men when I'm hanging in front of the TV with a teenage girl and her King Charles dog... I wonder too !

No sketches today because these doodles were done at my best friend's house, and she doesn't have any light table so I inked on the original sketches.

Meluzine is a French association whose goal is to help fanzines (like mine) to promote their works ; they created an online community for fanzine artists to share their experience, some tips, they also give as many informations as they can about conventions we can attend or invite artists to sell their work on their booth in conventions...

I went to a meeting with them about two weeks ago and was told that drawing the association mascot would be a great way to help them. So as drawing is the only thing I'm able to do, I decided to go for it. Anyways, I just had to make an alternate version that is more of my taste. See what I mean ?

Well yeah I know, the haircut kills all. It looked better on the girls. X)

No, the title ain't a way to promote drugs at all, it's a reference to Dr.Dre ! The fact is I drew Javier smoking weed and my only excuse is that I wanted to draw him all tired, totally high, because I was myself. Oh, I wasn't high, I was just completely sick and exhausted with a big flu. My eyes weren't even really open and I wanted him to reflect my own condition. Oh, and I thought my name on the smoke would be fun.

Sorry, I didn't keep the preliminary sketches for this one, I inked on the original sketch.

Aaanyways, this buff dude was drawn this morning, a bit in a hurry, because I AB-SO-LU-TE-LY wanted to try the screen recording software Veebee just recommended to me. I've been dying to record the complete coloring process and not only make incomplete animated gifs.

So here's my first try, well actually it's not very good, I didn't tame the software very well ; it's quite blurry, the zooms were automatically generated and I don't know what's with those hysterical cursor moves but it's a premiere so it's not perfect, of course. You can even see me changing the playlist on Deezer ! ^^"

I have to say for a drawing made in a rush, a daddy type of guy, with a boxer face, which I have never drawn before, it's not too bad. Adrenaline is actually good for creativity !

Dino let me choose which version of Conan I preferred ; I should have tried to be more inspired by Frazetta, I just love his artwork to pieces, but I thought the movie with Schwarzy looked much more eighties. ^^ Even if as a good fangirl I just can't wait for Jason Momoa as Conan !

Conan seems to be way bigger and hairier than He-Man. Why not after all. Oh and every time I ink mountains or such backgrounds I think about the good old times when I used to read Andy Park's Tomb Raider comics and study his fabulous inking.

Okay this is going to be nearly a "no comment" post... because I don't wanna say too much about these characters. ^^ I simply hope I'm going to go far with them.

Like a taste of Arabian Nights... remember how many times you saw Disney's Aladdin when you were kid ? ^^ (Btw can I recommend the Japanese version of Arabian Nights ? It's absolutely awesome !)

A minotaur ? Me ? I drew a minotaur ? Here's the story, last week (or was it last year ? I'm totally losing my mind these days... U_u) I finished the last issue of my fanzine Usagi Kira. You know what it is, the rush, you have to complete everything before going to the printing shop... when it was finally over, I was totally sick and tired of drawing little girls and rabbits. I needed to breathe, to draw something completely different. That's what I shouted on FurAffinity and my buddy Spinal22 suggested I could draw "something different, a minotaur for example", and why not "some light bondage". Mix it up and here's the result ! ^^

As you see I used a different coloring technique too. It was pretty challenging for me but I wanted to repeat the great experience I had coloring Rikuo's sketch by Patrick Fillion for Dinosaurprince. I've never been really inclined to color sketches, I love inking sessions so much ! I love to use my brushpen it's a bit like making love without STD ! XD I've never been that kind of persons, the ones who color sketches and do it well, but I have to thank Dino for pushing me to do this because I'm starting to really enjoy it ! As you'll see in the next pictures...

There are days when everything is shitty. Even the weather is ! It's pissing as if the world was going to end tomorrow ! Fortunately, there's a little sunlight in this fuckin' day. My baby, my preciousss.

Yeah, you may think it's stupid but it's always pleasant, especially when you color on the computer, to see your illustrations, and even more your comic pages, printed. They are here, all beautiful in your hands...

This is just a small self-produced fanzine I made for myself. See I already have another fanzine and it's much more "work-safe" but I really wanted this short comic to be printed. I consider it as a kind of business card. Like "No, I don't draw only little girls and rabbits, actually I prefer adult artwork, please have a look"... and that's it !

Inside there is a short hot and funny comic (six pages), a page to introduce the characters and a small "sketchbook" with the sketches of the pages, because they were pretty interesting. If you count the covers it reaches 16 pages, in color.

Different boys for once...

Two different boys today, the kind of guys I usually never draw. Enjoy !

This dude is a character I'm currently trying to create. I'm not gonna say much about him, sorry. I just wanted to make a contrast between a buff boy, all muscular, who looks like the harshest rugby player, a "real male" with hard interest for bodymods, especially the feminine specialty that are piercing corsets. At first I wanted to put huge flowers in the background but it was going to look way too girly for him.

I guess I eventually have to state : this is my bara style. It's not because I don't draw muscles that I don't like them, don't get me wrong ! However I don't like well defined muscles, I love them HUGE but round. Nice biceps are like a nice ass : soft (and sweaty ^^), strong, hard but you can press your finger on it and push on the smooth skin. Don't give me a top model or a bodybuilder, gimme The Rock and Vin Diesel ! Wrestlers are just purrr-fect.
Notice when I inked I slightly changed the perspective or the pool, to remove the big flowers. This way the warm tones of the body would make a beautiful contrast on the blue water. My boyfriend said he "wasn't convinced by the perspective" but does he even say positive things about my illustrations anyways ?

My favorite part of the colo' is the pool's border, the cute little tiles. Okay, I love the roundness of his ass too. But the tiles, the colors of the line art that don't look the same in the shadows, it was quite interesting.

This drawing was a quick commission I did last week-end in a convention in Marseille. It was an interesting exercise, something I'm not used to do so it deserves to be posted here.

That guy stopped by my booth and asked if I could draw him. The thing is on my booth I usually draw chibi commissions because that's what people like in conventions. And it's easier. But he wanted a comic style portrait of him so it was a lot of pressure : what if I had to start the drawing again and again because it sucked, what if he didn't like it, what if he thought it didn't look like him at all ? *pressure, pressure* The huge thing in his hand was his camera. ^^
In the end I'm quite happy, it's not perfect but remember it's a 3€ commish drawn in fifteen minutes on the corner of a really tiny table. Here's his myspace so you can see by yourself if it looks like him or not. :}

Those who know me well will probably recognize him... here comes the one and only Super Chubby ! So grab a burger and enjoy that blog, babes !

Super Chubby is an OC I created a few years ago. He's a strong super hero who fights the political correctness of diets. I started to draw him for two reasons : I was tired of all this harassment about diet, everywhere, on the radio, TV, internet, in the streets, etc... and I have to say three years later, after losing about 50 pounds, I'm still totally against diets. Second reason is simply that I obviously enjoyed to pieces doodling a fat guy in spandex, teheee ! ^^

When I drew him first, he was more cartoony, a kind of chibi. Now I'm not going to take care of him full time again, I have other OCs that need attention, but I wanted to spend some good times with him anyways. So I made a sexier version, more adult. It was funny to give him such an heroic pose. He could have been flying or so, but I wanted to show him stable and determined to change the world. Plus, it was important to show the... best parts. ^^
For the background I gotta confess I was totally inspired by Masakazu Katsura. He loves Batman but I love even more the dark adaptations he made with his own "Gotham" cities, for example in the mangas Zetman and Shadow Lady. It's darker, creepier and more twisted too ! XD So I was inspired by his weird architecture, let's face it.

Coloring that kind of illustrations is like artistic masturbation. ^^" Not my fault if his belly is so round, and if some bulges are so... shiny. These are the original colors I picked for Super Chubby in my first sketches, three or four years ago. The thing is : I didn't really choose, I just colored him with the colors left in my markers. I simply used the markers that had some ink left, and it happened to be a good match so I decided to keep it like that.

Now for something completely different !

I never post color works on this blog well... because I never know what to say about 'em. ^^" But this time it was quite a challenge, and I have to say I like the result -I honestly didn't think I could make it really right- so I post a little WIP.

Here's the story, Patrick Fillion nicely offered Dinosaurprince a sketch of one of his favorite characters ever : Rikuo. Dino thought it was sad to let it unfinished (well it's a short summary, for the whole story go to Dino's blog ! ^^) and asked me to color it.

I'd like to say that with such an awesome base it was too easy to do... but I'm not used to color sketches at all so I had to adapt a little bit. Who said challenge ? Me loves challenges ! Usually, I put the line art on a different layer, only the black parts, so I can color them later and have colored lines. (See Super Chubby for example !) This time it was not possible. So I kept the paper's texture to darken a bit the picture, and turned the drawing's layer to the multiply mode.

The good thing was that Patrick draws very well defined muscles, it's very simple to put light and shadows on it. Relief appears by itself. Oh and as I say everytime I color Rikuo, or an alien character, I love to work on green skins ! Not that I'm racist towards humans at all ! ^^ I just love the contrast on these colors.

I found some time to draw this picture recently, don't even ask me how. ^^" Not that I don't have a thousand things to do. Anyway... here Felix, one of Ka'eo and Javier's friends.

I was simply doodling on my sketchbook, wanting to draw a face a bit different than those I usually draw, and a guy with a more defined body. I picked Felix 'cause he's a bit thinner than the others (though on this pic he's quite muscular) and I love to make him look a bit stupid... well let's say, at least, naive. My priority on this pic was his face, his startled expression. As if the poor dude didn't expect to come so soon. -Oh, and on my Deezer playlist here comes just right now Lil Wayne singing "Pussy Monster"... >w< as if I weren't horny enough to have spend two hours coloring this cock !-

He's on his bed of course and you don't really know when you see the line art if he's masturbating watching TV or through a neighbour's window (girl... or boy ? Hehe... I still didn't decide if Felix is gonna be straight or gay. Or both.) Next to the bed, a little chest of drawers with his laptop. Would you please notice the Blackberry getting its batteries filled ? Well yeah, the poor baby paid a lot for this so I guess as most of young people who have one, he's quite addicted to it. ^^

Red cheeks, ok. Red balls ? Hmm... kinky ! I know it's not realistic but I thought it could be funny if the HUGE drops of cum could make huge shadows on the wall. Hey, it's a comic illustration after all. Eventually, I guess he's watching TV seeing the blue reflections on his body. I know he's way too old to be surprised by his first orgasm so I think he's just startled by the big drops. But in my humble opinion he's should be careful, who knows if Mama ain't gonna enter the room soon ? XD

Uh, late, me ? Nooo ! ^^" Well, this time I'm really too late and busy to take time writing a lot about this last illustration so I leave it up to you to guess how it came up. Hope you'll enjoy those shorts WIPs of my last commission for Dinosaurprince.

From first doodle to inked piece. You can see some details changed, like their position, Nate's ornament and hair and especially Joey's face. Believe it or not but Matthew and I got inspired by Bugs Bunny cartoons. ^^ For Nate's fierce and grumpy look I thought about Ronon Dex from the TV Show Stargate Atlantis. Did you know he's gonna play Conan the Barbarian ? Yum yum !

I enjoyed doing the background, especially the colors even though I've never been in Australia. I used to have some good online friends there though. Actually, I've been inspired by a recent short trip I did, that allowed me to see some different landscapes while the sun wasn't very high in the sky. My boy was driving and I was mentally taking notes of what I was seeing, and how the light affected the hills. ^^

Two illustrations I simply did for myself and had a lot of fun drawing. The first one is Angel, my OC. You already saw him here for example.

He's the "big brother" of the crew, the oldest, the strongest and, actually, the one I draw when I wanna put my hands on a big buff boy. He's my excuse for drawing a more muscular guy, because let's face it, the hermanitos of the crew pretend they're big boys but they're quite ridiculous next to him.

For his position and body I got inspired by several pictures of the wrestler/actor/sex bomb The Rock. One of my favorite beefcakes ever. So here Angel doesn't have the body of a super-hero but the anatomy of a hot dude who had some time to practice. I wanted to draw a prison wire behind him, and one of the jail's blocks but I truly swear I didn't have time. I'm drawing backgrounds for a lot of other things and I knew I would never find time for him, so I colored him instead of letting him rot in my cardboard.

This morning when I opened Photoshop to start playing with him I just said (not to myself, not in my head I really mean I said it loud) "Soo baby, I think we're gonna have a real good time together ! I knew it would be exciting to enlighten his body, because on dark skins you can play with a lot of tones, it's way easier than light skins. (Don't say I'm racist, I'm white myself... u_u and not tanned at all !) And it was, indeed. Except that, as usual, I looked at the file where I keep all the color references for the boys of the crew and was like "Hey where's Angel scheme ?". As always I forgot he has the exact same colors as his brother Javier. ^^" The little patch on his jeans has got the colors of the Cuban flag, of course.

Let's practice our Spanish lessons once again. "El dia de los muertos". Yeah, I know, I know I forgot the accent but I don't have it on my French keyboard. I think it gotta be the only interesting thing you can learn in Spanish lessons, except from the two or three words I was happy to recognize in Ricky Martin's and Enrique Iglesias' songs.

The very first time I drew this boy, a few months ago, about nearly a year actually, I wanted to draw a human sugar skull. A hot boy inspired by the traditional sugar skulls people get tattooed. This time I was inspired by another tattoo... but I can't find it anymore, it's been driving me crazy for two hours now. I once saw, on a Tattoo forum, a guy who had a huge flower tattooed around his anus. At first when I saw it I was like "Aaaaaouuuch !". But I had to admit that it was really, really awesome, the flower -and the rest- was pretty, and very appropriated. So, thinking back about it, I thought it would make a great drawing, and a cool addition to my Sugar Boy's ornaments.
As you can see, first doodle, I just suggested the background. The point of vue was tricky but that's precisely why I did it this way. Perspective work, haha...

Detail of the background. I drew him in front of one of these altars that are installed in Mexico to celebrate the dead members of the family. There are candles, sugar skulls, traditional flowers, curtains and drapes, and crosses of course even if this picture is quite sacrilegious. ^^"
The huge portrait represents a skull, once again inspired by tattoo culture. You often see that kind of skeletons, dressed in traditional Mexican mourning outfits, most of time they are a couple, a man and a woman. However, on the altar is supposed to be shown a photo of the dead guy, not a fantasy skeleton picture. So I don't know, maybe as there is no dead woman with him, the skeleton is (or was) Skull Boy's partner ? Oh gosh I'm drawing sad stories without even doing it on purpose !

I had a hard time finding the right balance for the colors. In the end I had to go for an unsaturated background to create a good contrast with the boy or it wouldn't have been easy to "read". The picture would have been too noisy. It's a bit frustrating too because the altar looked good with all these bright colors. But well, it's not that important, the sexy dude is always a priority ! ^^

Hot Greys

Straight porn ? In here ? Yeah I know it's strange but eh... you'll understand why very soon.

As you obviously know, I already drew Nova the Grey for Dinosaurprince a few months ago, in a gayer situation. But Nova is into boys and girls (bisexuals in da place, raise your hand yeaaah ! *raises hand*) and he's even got a girlfriend, or kinda... when in February I offered Dino a free commission to thank him for the nine previous drawings he paid me, and to thank me he nicely asked me if there were any of his characters that I'd like to draw. I said I could draw straight sex for once, because come on, Nova and Nibiru have a pretty cool design, a great style and they look good together, don't they ?

First sketch. Dino only told me that Nova could be kneeling and Nibiru laying on her back, in front of him. I went for this position, added a sci-fi background, some kind of spatial landscape with a huge planet in the corner, a sky that was supposed to be full of stars, and two pyramids, because Nova is very inspired by Egyptian civilization, as you can see.

On the second sketch I removed their ears and gave Nova more dreads. I also added the insert panel in the top. Dino suggested there could be one and if I remember well it was a first time for me... interesting experience. ^^ If you wonder, you sex noobs, the round lump on her vagina's wall is her G spot. At first the panel was supposed to be egg-shaped but it wasn't really great in the end.

Would you please notice that Nova is more muscular than the guys I usually draw ? Just saying... It's something I have to force myself to do. Let's say "for my own good"... ^^"

The inside view was drawn on another sheet so it would be on a separate layer, there are two versions of the finished picture, one with and one without the porny part.

I really had fun with the background's colors, especially the sand and the pyramids. Made them silver-blue so you can imagine they are not made of stone but... anything you want, metal, or some shiny alien material, though with their golden tips they look like pyramidal boobs ! XD The head of Nova's penis is blue because it glows when he's coming, so you can guess he's about to come. So understandable with a hottie like Nibiru !

Who is Usagi Kira ?

To sum up, Usagi Kira is a character I created a while ago and now she kinda... rules my life. At first it was just for fun but now I'm going to a lot of manga conventions to show and sell some goodies, postcards, bookmarks, etc. But who is she ? Well that's the point. Just a young gothic lolita, absolutely cute and kawaii, who loves to torture rabbits. -Once again I'm all for animals rights and blablabla... it's just for fun. I don't even eat rabbits in real life.- The contrast between cuteness and gore is what makes her attractive.

So, coming back from an epic convention at the begining of February, I knew I had another con' two weeks ago, that it was going to be an exhausting month and I didn't want to lose my inspiration as it happened last November. This last artblock was awful so I decided to force myself to draw a little smut, just not to lose it. For this one I wanted to make a gay porn version of Usagi Kira but it had to be two boys, of course, or it wouldn't have been gay -that's kinda mathematical ^^-. Last saturday, April 3rd, was Fallen Angel's birthday. Being a friend of Dinosaurprince, he tried to prevent him from making a fuss out of it, but he didn't manage and guess who had some pieces of art of his favorite character for his birthday ? :}

Dino and I are used to work together now, it's quite easy. However this time, it was a little tricky : Dino learned and told me about the birthday on tuesday ; I obviously could draw only one character for saturday but see, I'm in France and Dino in Canada, and he can't look at my work in progress when he's at work. But when he comes back from work I'm already sleeping so when I send him something, sometimes it may take one entire day to get his approval on a step : we work fast but the jetlag makes us wait for each other during too many hours. ^^" So we decided to do something really simple to have time to finish before saturday.

The character Dino picked is Koji Kabuto from Go Nagai's Mazinger Z. One of Fallen Angel's not so secret crushes. ^^ On this version, I tried to draw his long lashes, as the original had, but we agreed that it was too girly so we got rid of it.

Dino wanted him to eat some noodles, in his uniform, but with his cock hanging from his open suit. I made him slurp his noodles as all the japanese charas do in manga, it was quite fun ! ^^ I think I fucked up his hand with the chopsticks anyway, I really need to pratice. He is kneeling, because that's the way you traditionally eat at a table in Japan. Oh, I know his cock doesn't match the Japanese clichés at all but well... in my porn, guys are well hung, that's it ! XD

Due to the lack of time, we decided to keep a simple background. I doodled a little something a bit stormy and powerful on Photoshop, playing with brushes and layers, trying to match his suit. In the end the result is not too bad for something drawn "under pressure" ! Plus, it was my very first Go Nagai fanart and I'm happy about it ! ^^

Also, on the same day was my best friend's birthday. I really, really, really had no idea of what to draw her -I'm working on a lot of different projects for the moment and when I have to come back to drawing for my own pleasure, I just don't know what to do ^^"-, so I asked her and she suggested my OC Big-E.

I said ok, the fact is Big-E has got a girlfriend who loooves him -lucky bitch ! - yeah I know it's only fiction and so what ?- so... if I wanted to give her a sexy pic of the dude, she virtually had to deal with the possessive girlfriend. The scan is not awesome, that's the problem with watercolor, the scan fucks it up easily. But I know when I'll eventually give her the original piece, she will get the right colors and contrast. Ah, this belly... *__* I would be jealous too !

No pics today -or tonight, cuz' it's 5:30 a.m over here-, sorry folks. Just need to sit down and talk about my problems to the big Internet psychologist.

Well, we've been together for 5 years and a half (I mean with my boy), and I've never been more active with my art, I've never worked on my art so hard, like every day, doing stuff, trying to create, trying to do things I'm going to sell in conventions. Sure I'm not pro yet but all I'm doing is trying to get better and better, and preparing projects that could be shown to editors. And even if I'm not as popular as some artists are on Y!Gallery, there are people who love what I'm doing. I have friends who support me, I have good feedbacks in conventions, people saying that they like it. It really means a lot to me and I try to remember it when I'm down. I gotta remember the people who are ready to give me a few euros because they like my stuff, people who bought my anthro illustrations last time. Not that I'm doing it for the money, because I'm not living with what I sell in conventions, I just think that it's the best proof that they love it if people are ready to sacrifice a little money just for a piece of art.

The problem now is that my boy doesn't respect what I'm doing. It's driving me insane. He doesn't respect art and I don't manage to know if it's all the art, or only mine. I try to tell him it hurts me but he just doesn't seem to really understand. I know he barely likes what I'm doing -and no, it's not a clash with gay porn, it's about everything I do- but sometimes I wonder if he thinks it's useless, pointless and totally not worthy and that I should give up or if it's just his "I don't give a fuck about anything" way to think. But it pisses me off. He just doesn't realize what my creations are to me.

Example 1. A few times ago, I was sorting my drawings, and I found the original line art of the Butterat. It's a really cute picture that I'm fond of, and I know a few people who love it, lots of people said it was cute in conventions, well. On the sheet, on the drawing, there was a big footprint. Don't know if it's his or mine and I don't care, it wasn't made on purpose. But it had me sighing to see this special picture dirty. And what does he say ? "Oh, it's not important, you won't do anything with the line art anyway, you're selling prints of the Photoshop version." Seriously, what the hell ? How can't he understand how important are original pieces ?! If originals weren't important to me I would be working on the computer all the time. Doesn't he know yet that I'm traditional, that I'm sticking to the good old paper and pencils because it gives you a solid result, an object that is unique and can't be really copied ? Yes, that's the problem, the original butterat is unique and when it's dirty, it's dirty. And when last Christmas I messed up all of the original drawings in my bag with yellow ink, it was just a lot of unique things that were gone. That's all.

Example 2. For my booth in conventions, I'm preparing my first "real" fanzine. First, there were goodies, then a coloring book, then an "artbook" and now I'm ready to go to the next level. I'm working a lot on it, all the time. See, I'm going to do it black and white so it's less expensive. But I want to have fun anyways so I'm doing some of the illustrations in watercolor : my new watercolor box rooocks and the black and white effects I'm doing with it are my new crack. I think that since I'm forced for commercial reasons to make a black and white fanzine, I'm not forced to stick to the damn manga screentones and do the black and white my way. Am I the only one to think that selling quality b&w illustrations is kind of a great deal ?
Well, yesterday I was painting two of these pics, in watercolor. He takes a look and says : "Ha, you like that effect, the border thing with your watercolor, hm ?" So I nod with a "Yes" and he says : "Yeah and you spend less time on it, it's faster than Photoshop". Dude, I'm not doing it in fuckin' watercolor to 'save time' ! That's just not the purpose of watercolor ! At all ! Won't you say next time that I'm doing it in watercolor because I'm lazy or so ?
With all my respect for digital art, on one side you have a drawing where you can erase every single step with a ctrl+Z, on the other side you have a real painting that is risky to do and that you can mess up forever in one second if you're not focused enough. I don't know, when I'm doing this I think "People, see, I'm not messing around with you, I'm giving you black and white but it's hand painted." and the fact that he doesn't see how watercolor is UNIQUE, once again, is getting on my nerves.

I don't know why it's buggin' me now, right now. Is he worse than he used to be, or is it me ? As the dear baby girl Aaliyah said :

I just don't know. I know that the fact my best friend is dating a guy who's got a fanzine and who loves art even though he doesn't draw himself is frustrating ; is it normal that your best friend's guy respects your art more than your own boy does ? But well, better than nothing, hm ?
On the other side, my boy recently printed a chibi version of him I did (with the damn' black and white watercolor XD) and stick it next to his desk at his office, and he took one of my "artbooks" to show it to his colleagues which is totally weird and illogical since he's not really enthusiastic about it. I don't get it.

Well, I just need to focus on good things now, remember good things are coming up, that May will be a fuckin' great month and that I have a lot of stuff to do before... yay !

Denver, the last dinosaur

I had the idea of this fanart when I joined a group on Facebook titled "What does mean the "And so much more" in Denver's opening song ?". Oh, what a pathetic proof that I'm a nolife, being inspired by Facebook ! u_u But that's the best part of this network, stupid groups like "Eating a salad at McDonald's is like asking a hug to a hooker" or "One day, you wake up... and you're a salmon."

There was this picture by DAvy Mourier, a french actor/director/writer/comic artist/nerd/idol of mine and as you can guess I was craving to do my own version so here it is.

I wasn't sure I would do something good, finding the right balance between Denver's so cartoony anatomy and a realistic human cock -ah, Y!Gallery !- but in the end it's not that shocking -or is it ? ^^-. He's got a round, cute face and that huge... HUGE thing. I didn't include his badass guitar but I let him hold his shades, they are so fantastic ! 80's pink shades ! XD

I don't really remember why I picked this kid among all the team, don't remember his name, sorry, but it was most probably because he was the nerdiest -or just to make an homage to DAvy's version-. Dorks with glasses deserve some lovin' too ! However, I'm not into shota at all so I made him a big boy. I really had fun drawing his chest hair, and his big 90's sneakers. I drew them in their play hut, that was such an important place in the show and I like the idea they're still hiding in there many years later to play in a pretty different way ! ^^

Lars Croft and the Spider

This one unfortunately had to be posted in the Extras on Yaoi Gallery because the spider is kinda sexually assaulting him -is it really bestiality ? Hm...-. It could have been work safe as in the video game but come on, wouldn't have been funny at all !

The spider is an homage to one of my favorite levels ever : the Temple of Xian in Tomb Raider 2. I love all this level because it's quite technical, it's trap after trap after trap, you don't have a single second to rest and it's all about knowing exactly what you can do and when to do it -ah... jump and flip from a ladder to another ladder in your back, one of my favorite tricks ! ^^-. However, I have to say the spider cave got me screaming and squealing and jumping in front of my screen like a thousand times because it's so dark and you hear them but you don't know where they come from, you don't even know where you gotta go. It's not even that this level is complicated, it's just so scary ! *shivers*

Lars' mini shorts, just like Lara's, are so tight, it's such a temptation to rip them off, that's why I do it in every single drawing. But I don't see anything underneath, guess he's going commando all the time, just in case he might need a "fast access". I kinda like the color of his skin, would like to bite his arm. I also added some shiny lights to the background to remember the weird atmosphere of the spider cave : it already has that strange emerald lighting you have in the next level, the Floating Islands. It should have been much darker too, but I prefer to fully see Lars and his cock, that's quite important, nope ? ^^

Happy Birthday Freddy !

About one month ago, our dear Dinosaurprince told me about his ideas, his projects, and said he wanted to commission some pieces for the birthday of his friend Freddy, a.k.a Ink-B -a pretty good artist, you should definitely check out !-. He told me we could work on something else before if I wanted to, but as a good paranoid I just said "No, it's in one month, let's do it first, there's a deadline, it's important !". There you know I'm kinda... angsty ! *lol*

The first pic was prince Athan, a gorgeous original character created by Ink-B. Dino said he could be kneeling next to an open treasure chest, tossing up gold coins in the air with a very happy look on his face. The scene would take place on an island, next to the beach. He also suggested the coins would make the words "Happy Birthday Ink-B" but I thought it was going to be huge and complicated and would steal the attention Athan needed, so I wrote the b'day wishes on a parchment to figure a treasure map.

On a funny note, I am what I am... I'm used to another kind of commissions so... at first I drew Athan totally naked (and quite... glorious ^^") but then Dino told me that Athan was Ink-B's baby and that he wasn't supposed to be NSFW at all. So I brought his clothes back. Naaa you won't see the first sketch, you pervs' ! On this second version I added some jewels, all the necklaces and the gold bracelet with Ink's name engraved on it.

Inked version. You can notice I wrote Happy Birthday on the parchment in French because the internet is huuuuuuuuge but sometimes you get commissioned by a Canadian guy to draw a part of the birthday present of a guy who speaks the same language as you ! ^^ -Let's say Ink-B and I live in the same country but not at all in the same part of the world. Wow, damn colonization !- I thought it would sound exotic to English speakers, or to anyone who doesn't speak French anyway, but Ink would understand it.

As for the colors, nothing really important to say, I wondered for a while if I was going to go for unsaturated colors, for darker tones or more realistic background, but then I thought a birthday wasn't really the good moment to make experimentations : I sticked to a joyful cartoony color scheme as that's what I do the best. In the end the result is not too bad, in my opinion.

Second piece !

Being a concerned friend, Dino also asked for Ink's favorite characters from Final Fantasy : Basch and Squall. This is my first FF porn, maybe my first FF fanart and I have to say the best part of it was to have to show it to my best friend, who's a complete Final Fantasy whore. She's been a fan for years -decades ?-, she jumped on FFXIII as soon as it came out, she knows five years before when a game is supposed to be released, I'm always totally lost when I talk about it with her. I was so scared she would be picky and say "No, Squall is not supposed to be like this, and Basch should be like that !"
However, even though I'm not a gamer I've always admired Final Fantasy, since the beginning they have the best pictures... see, when a video game is made in USA or Europe, you know Japanese were doing as good 3D effects on Final Fantasy like five years ago. Not even talking about their fantastic chara design work, every time. I remember when FFX came out, I was younger, I've never played the game but I could spend hours in front of the TV, watching the previews, trailers and other videos of the game, drooling over Tidus and Wakka and the motherfuckin way these pictures were animated !

Dino requested a good old doggy style. With Basch cumming on Squall's back - that's the cherry on top ! ^^-. Doggy style is not the position I prefer to draw ; it's cool because both guys can be facing you and you can fully see their faces. (Plus it's a hot position, if you've ever tried you know what I mean...) But the way to put arms and legs is a bit tricky. I feel like ALL of my doggy style pics are the same. I gotta find a way to get better at this -without drawing it from a side view, which is ever worse in my opinion-.

You know what ? I really had fun with their clothes. At first, I think we were wondering if we should draw them naked or not but I said to Dino that definitely, their special suits are 100% parts of the characters and that they should be drawn. Basch's suit was a mess, lots of straps, leather stuff. But I had a blast inking Squall's jacket. I think I love to draw leather much more than to wear it ! ^^

In the end, I got inspired by a screencap of Dissidia for the background. Did it entirely on Photoshop. Oh, I know, you're wondering what my best friend did say about the complete illustration... or did she see it ? Don't remember if she saw the finished work, but I know she said it was funny because Squall, the character who always pouts and never smiles, was smiling on this drawing. As I told her, Dino and I are really into consensual sex, we like it playful and happy -in our works, of course ! We have a professional relationship ! ^^- and it wouldn't have been a great birthday wish if this usually grumpy Squall didn't seem happy to be there.

Qué pasó con mi leche ?

Guess what ? I have another blog post in progress but I just can't seem to finish to write it. I will, one day... probably... ^^" anyway, today I finally finished this illustration and wanted to share.

Yeah, it might be what it seems to be. The "cover" of a short comic I'm currently drawing, just for fun. You recognize my original characters, Javier the latino baby boy from the Bronx and Ka'eo the hawaiian chubby dude. The comic will be 6 pages long. The title means, in spanish, "What happened to my milk ?"... Yup, it's exactly what you think it is, it's supposed to be hot and funny at the same time.
For the cover I wanted a mix of what you can see in the six pages : hot hip-hop styled chocolate boys, average domestic details like the chair and the clothes on it and the urban feeling of the Bronx in the background. I tried to find the good balance between the background and the boys, using the diagonal in the composition. Honestly don't know if I managed...
However, I couldn't decide what kind of tones I should use so I made two variations, one less saturated and one more saturated. Don't hesitate to give your opinion because I really, really don't know which is better, though I like the flashy one.

Unfair Game !

Unfair game, yet another epic story of Gâ-L and Dinosaurprince ! This time it was not really a commission, it was more of a request, free request. Dino has been really kind and supportive (and a picky son of a bitch as he says himself ! :p) since we started to work together so I decided to make a special offer like a pizza delivery company : nine drawings commissioned, the tenth for free.

As you saw on my last post, Andrew and Romer are definitely a good match so Dino asked for another piece of the two of them. This time it's badminton on the beach ! -Not bad because it's quite cold over here, what about your place ? Mine is freezing !- At first, Dino thought about four characters playing badminton but he thought it was a little too much of asking for a free request, seeing that we usually went for two charas. Here's the first doodle, trying to put things in shape. They were both very dynamic, ready for the game but...

Dino suggested Andrew could be more relaxed because he's got an obvious advantage : three rackets, two more heads... now you get it : unfair game ! So I gave Romer a more desperate look, it's logical that he doesn't like to lose, especially this way. Dino also wanted to add a Flintstones touch (classic !) so the net is tied to a palm tree -I love palm trees, they remind me of my hometown, I grew up among palm trees, though they were added by the town council, they don't shoot naturally in south of France-. And they are playing with a bird as in the Flintstones.

We all thought it was going to be pretty easy ; you probably think it was an easy illustration to do. Oh, I didn't expect that. ^^" The net was the problem. Because you see, Andrew is full of details. And the net, simply sketched, was a terrible mess over Andrew. The pencil was dirty, there was dust everywhere. See, if it had been a picture for myself I would have drawn the net at the last moment, after everything else, because I wouldn't need to sketch it to know where it was. But as it was a commission I had to show Dino what it was going to look like, it's normal.

You can see we changed the placement of the bird. Ah, the bird, what a story ! I drew him round like a ball, it gotta be more ergonomic. Though he seems to know who he wants to see winning. I made him laugh at Romer, which is not very nice.

And the final picture ! Something funny happened at this point. At first the bird was blue, as in the Flintstones. But then Matthew asked me to change a bit the color of the feathers of his tail "to make him look more like a birdie". He suggested white feathers. Do you remember I'm French ? Now that's the joke, I didn't know what was a birdie in badminton. I absolutely had no idea ! So when he said that I thought he meant the bird had to look more like a bird. At the moment I thought it was a bit rude, because if he didn't like the design of the bird he could have told me before I inked and started to color. ^^" And the way to say it was weird too, it seemed strange that he said "the bird should look more like a bird" instead of a more polite "the bird should look more realistic". Long story short, we finally understood each other and I gave the bird the colors of a badminton birdie. We agreed it was going a funny story to tell later !

Dinosaurprince's last fantasy

Ok, will I manage to finally write this post ? I'm been driving myself crazy with Blogger, it was partly his fault, partly mine... *breathes* well ! Boys let me tell ya Dino and I literally rocked this new commission ! All I wanna say is "Epic win".

Dino wanted me to try his new boy, Andrew 2 -you'll have to tell me why "two" by the way ! ^^-. His idea was that Andrew, hanging from a tree by his legs, could startle Romer by falling on him, holding him with his vines and forcing his multiple cocks to his face, but in a playful way. At first I didn't see exactly how it could turn out so Dino sketched his idea and I thought we could use some twisted point of vue to get something really interesting. I tried to find a dynamic yet sexy and unusual position. Here's the genesis of the baby, the first scribble. I usually send more detailed sketches but this position was really tricky and I didn't want to sweat too much on it if the Boss didn't like it. Fortunately he did.

I got inspired mostly by Dinosaurprince's own version of Andrew 2, but for some details I totally followed Ink-B's version... ahh you guess why ! ^^ The horny sucking plants in this picture totally looked like Bellsprout and I'm a real pokewhore so I fell in love with them. Aren't they cute ? I expected to be asked to change some things but Dino was just as happy as I was with this sketch so it stayed like that.

Line art, just because... -did I say drawing upside down stuff seen from the floor is quite tricky ? Just saying... but the pleasure when it's done is sooo good !-

When I started to color, the skins had no shadows or lights, and it made me wanna eat an ice-cream, it looked like pistachio flavor and chocolate. Fortunately the cold weather prevented me to do so ! ^^ This time the hard-working little pOrn elf I am didn't forget to color Romer's penis head with deep purple, I also decided to make different colors for all of Andrew's cocks. There were just some changes to do for the pink one... ^^ On Yaoi Gallery, I posted a "censored" version because it seems the eyes aren't allowed on the tentacle things so it's a kind of exclusive for here, my website and Dino's blog. Between Shelley and Lovecraft

Two big myths I shouldn't even dare to illustrate, me, little insect I am. See, I am fond of traditional arts. To me, nothing can replace the feeling of paper and pencils. It's truly something you feel in your body, just like dancing, singing or doing any art. I wouldn't be able to draw directly on a computer, not having originals on paper... it's priceless to feel the thousand different ways the pencil have to touch the paper, the sounds they make together, the smell of paper. Oh and to ink with a brushpen is simply a great sensation that a graphic tablet will never be able to replace. The pressure of the hairs against the paper is something you need to control in real life, not virtually. Even Wacom can't perfectly imitate reality.

However, all this babbling to say : the emotions I get with traditional stuff are simply fantastic but these days I'm feeling really, really good with Photoshop. I feel comfortable, there's some kind of routine, some things just come by themselves naturally : preparing the mille-feuilles of layers, for example. But I also found some exciting new tricks in only a few days and this is terribly pleasant.

I explained the drawing itself in this post. At first I wanted to go for warm tones, yellow, orange, all the colors I prefer because I did this illustration to explore the oriental side of the myth. It could have been yet another genie in the desert. But it was too necessary to use blueish tones for Cthulhu, he's a water divinity ; and with Yog-Sothoth in the background, it had to take place in the outer space. I wasn't sure I would do something interesting with this blue-green colors, I hesitated, wanted to include purple, green and a bit of yellow and I found the right layers to do this so the result is much better than what I expected.
I also used a brighter effect on the background, that kind of halo surrounding Al Hazred and the tentacles ; I rarely use so contrasted effects but it suited the goth fantasy atmosphere.
In the last post I said I wanted to add esoteric symbols but the composition, in my opinion, didn't need to be more complicated. The tentacles and the arched body already have complementary and opposed directions, it would have been weird to create yet another flow with symbols. But I might make an alternate version one day, just to try...

Drawing previously explained in this post. Before starting to color this picture, I was thinking about it, mentally taking notes of what I should do, when I thought about something I had read a long time ago -years ago, actually-. When I was a kid my parents had a lot of books about Impressionism, their favorite painter was Pierre-Auguste Renoir. Of course, as a lot of artists, Renoir wasn't really appreciated when he was still alive and I once read a really mean critique of one of his contemporaries that said about his famous bathers something like "women at bath are not supposed to look like that, he marks them with spots of blue, green and purple, I feel like I'm looking at rotting flesh". I totally disagree with this critique, I love Renoir's paintings but it inspired me for this piece. The color of his skin was created by using a bunch of different subtle colors and also highly inspired by De Niro's skin in Kenneth Branagh's movie. The 'delicious' color of the flesh that spent too much time in water.
The roses weren't complicated, they simply came up just as I imagined. Baby pink, they are sweet, pretty, far away from the traditional bright red old-school roses. They would be perfect for a marriage illustration or something like that.
Surprisingly, I had a hard time with the background. I had made a very pretty combination of textures but it was too weird with the cartoony drawing style and it took me a while to find the good balance but I got it the way I wanted. End of story. Thanks Mrs Shelley ! :}

Side Street Crew

So you know me, you know I've been playing with these dudes for a while now and I wanted to make a gallery of all the crew, even those I hadn't drawn yet. Let's say it's in honor of Javier's first birthday ? -Most of them don't have their usual tattoos, because I have to think about it a little bit more...-

Javier, the main character even if everybody prefers Ka'eo. I like his pose and his muscles on this one ; on this series I tried a new trick for coloring, on the skin, I really like it. It's a little bit more subtle and makes the muscles look more defined. So, the pose... and the spliff, the little smile. He looks so smug, that's so him ! Oh and this huge chain, and the jewels, he's pretending he's all rich and gangsta. Of all the crew I think he's the most bling bling. But that's just to try to seduce his boy Ka'eo.

I'm in love with Ka'eo, no homo ! That guy is just perfect to me, he's got everything that's needed, just in the good places. I love his shape, soft, round, everywhere.
Oh, that's his new look, you can see he spent some time with the crew. Mateo, I-know-I-always-say-that-but he's my favorite. The slut of the crew. He's got a nice body in this pic, nope ? But the sign he's doing with his left hand is not very innocent ; it's supposed to be a gangsta sign, however it can be some sexual solicitation.
At first they all had such caps, but in the end Mateo is the only one who still wear one, it looks good on his long hair. Maybe should I make REAL caps and apparel with these designs ? Graffiti styled naughty words and cocks. ^^ The words on his boxers mean "Hood's panties" in Spanish.
I hesitated, at first I wanted to make a chocolate ice cream. But there's enough chocolate, caramel, brown in all of these pictures and see, my best friend is allergic to strawberry colorant in food and she doesn't eat red things, just to be sure. So I opted for this ice cream, so that my best friend would have an excuse to lick Mateo instead of the cone. Mischievious, I know...

The bad, bad capitalist I am is actually making an ad' for McDonald's. Booo... but hey, that's Big-E, he needs to eat, you don't wanna see him starving, right ? This new coloring trick totally made it on his belly. I think I just found the perfect shape for him.

Angel, the first time I'm drawing him. He's Javier's big brother so his skin has got the same color base as Javier, even if there are a little bit more shadows. He's got the same eyes too. His name is Angel so I don't have to explain his tattoo. Gun, shaved head, scar on his upper lip, bigger muscles : he's a real man, see ? I wanted to make him look tougher than the others, he spent some time in prison after all.

Drawing a hip-hop dancer is ALWAYS a good pretext to make a weird pose. I'm glad with the result, it's pretty dynamic ; I wasn't sure I'd manage to do something interesting on this format, without seeing his legs.
As his baggy is very large, it seems like he's got girl's hips. I also tried to dye his locks blonde but it wasn't great.
This series was the occasion for me to compare different body types. I tried to make Jesus look thin but muscular, flexible like a panther...

Felix, on the contrary, is skinny, sooo skinny ! Poor baby, his jeans are falling down to his knees. But he's trying, desperately trying to look sexy to get girls. Big-E is the youngest but I love to make Felix look like a teenager : no facial nor body hairs, no muscles, no jewels, no tattoos, a really basic haircut. He's still momma's boy in some kind of way.

My very last commission for Dinosaurprince tastes like old-school video games and smells like the good ol' eighties ! I know, I know, I may sound like an ancestor to some young readers... ^^"

Street wankers, here we go. This time, unlike last time, I already knew the game -because when I did this Darkstalkers piece I just didn't know it, I barely knew Rikuo from Dino's blog, shame on me ! ^^"-. It was really cool to have a take on Guy because he's got this special suit... ok I may sound like a total noob but is he the only one who ever wore it in video games ? Or were they many characters ? Because it seems like I've seen it for all my life. The two others were great to draw too. They all look so... from the 80's ! I can't find any word to describe them better.

Second version with more muscles. What was I thinking ? Of course, they are fighters ! I don't draw naturally defined muscles so Dino gotta push me on this side but it does always give good results. His first instructions were Cody, Haggar and Guy -with his Street Fighter Alpha 2 suit-, in a circle jerk, in some dark alley. What a great match. I added a garbage can to make it a little trashy, and the little detail of the dead fish made us laugh ; it reminds me of the typical dark streets you can see in funny comics. In the garbage cans, were cats hang around, there's always the skeleton of a fish...
At first, Cody's hand was on his own cock, but then Dino suggested it could be on Mike's, so I put Mike's hand on Cody's shoulder and it's was kinda cute so we let it like this. It's just a little sad that Guy doesn't have his part of friendly touching, but what Mike could be doing with his other hand behind his back... it's up to your imagination.

It must be because I'm fond of orange that I love Guy's outfit so much. Or because it's so exciting to see him jerking off with this suit on, unzipped on his crotch. Mike is just... well... forgive me but he looks like the typical customer of gay clubs in New-York, back in the eighties. But... c'mon, he just looks like Freddie Mercury ! It hit me when I colored him and what can I say ? I've always been a HUGE Freddie Mercury fan ! ^^" Oh man, what a cross-over.

A little color variation, I let you find the differences. No, there aren't seven of them. ^^" Too bad I didn't keep the very very first sketches, it could have been interesting to compare. "Anubis" & "Al Azif"

The last days of 2009 were filled with oriental lust for me... well at least in my drawings. As for my bed, it was quite cold ! ^^"

"Anubis". No surprise I doodled this dude last sunday, watching The Mummy Returns -the one with The Rock and Oded Fehr... rawwrrr !-. I suddenly wanted to draw an anthro and even if I'm not usually into canids, they're too common, I like the result. I even wondered if I was going to ink him totally black, to give him a black skin, but eventually I decided to stay this way, with a dark style anyway, a bit like US comics. It was just to let my hands play, the position is one of the "I don't know what to draw so let's make some eye-candy" positions. I can't wait to color him I think it's gonna be interesting !

"Al Azif" A picture a la Lovecraft I really enjoyed to draw. This represents Abdul Al Hazred, the original author of the Necronomicon. He's surrounded by the Outer God Cthulhu and in the background Yog-Sothoth is watching.

Abdul Al Hazred, the "Mad Arab", supposedly was a simple human but I gave him this genie appearance because when you know he stayed in the desert for years worshipping Chtulhu and Yog-Sothoth before writing his book about the Gods, you can't deny there was probably something supernatural about it. Plus, the original title of the Necronomicon is "Al Azif", which is the noise of the insects' wings and/or the noise of a genie screaming. That's why I picked this title : can't you hear the genie screaming ?

It's not very original but Cthulhu is made for tentacle porn. I gave him octopus suction pads just because it was funny to imagine ; I wanted the tentacles to stick like an octopus, instead than squeezing him like a constrictor snake. After all Cthulhu is a god of water, not earth.

Yog-Sothoth is everything and nothing, he makes the link between the other side of the Universe and us, so you can imagine he was the one who helped Chtulhu and Al Hazred to meet -and do this. I know he may look weird and not very "terrible god" like but that's how he's supposed to be : "only a congeries of iridescent globes, yet stupendous in its malign suggestiveness" according to Lovecraft.

On the pOrn side, please notice I drew all by myself a circumcised cock - nearly a premiere ! ^^-. I had to wonder if it was correct but yes because, it's said Al hazred was not a really good Muslim, which obviously means he wrote this book after Islam appeared so he was probably cut in his childhood.

The tattoo on his cock is a reference to Logan's Pornomicon, of course. I didn't really want to use his universe but to explore the oriental roots of the myth. Ain't it much exotic this way ? :}

I plan to color it -among the soooo many illustrations I have to color...- and add some interesting effects in the background, mysterious clouds, galaxies, stars and esoteric symbols that I didn't want to ink. Hope I will find time and make something great out of it.

The three "H" : Hobo, Halawa and Hated ! Still black and white because I'm at my parent's house.

"Hobo", I hope you recognized at least a little bit Charlie Winston. Got the album for Christmas and I was there, doodling, with no inspiration, when my eyes met the front page of the booklet. I just had to try a little portrait and it was satisfying enough for me to share it. I might make a painted version sometime, with soft greyscales... :}

"Halawa" ! Usually I'm not into portraits but today is the exception. Let me introduce you Sultan, a fantastic bellydancer I found out on a float, during this year's Gay Pride in Paris. Not only was he a gorgeous guy but he was also a fantastic dancer. I already drew him this summer, but it was at a convention -read : on the corner of a full table, with very few hours of sleep ^^"-, and it was pretty bad : but this time I used some pictures of him as references -check them out on his Myspace- and I think it's much better this way.

"Halawa" means "so beautiful" and I think we all agree he deserves it. I know, I know I may sound like a groupie but watch him dance only once and you'll understand, even if you're not into guys you can just be smitten.

If you look closely you can see I drew the braces on his teeth ; nobody ever notices he's got braces, because people usually can't stop staring at everything else. But I really like that he's the proof a guy can wear braces and be incredibly sexy.

"Hated". This morning I was reading a book about Gothic Fantasy Art I got for Christmas -yay, my family rocks !- and the master Brom, in the preface he wrote for it, tried to explain the interest and the purpose of gothic art. I don't think he managed but he said something that caught my attention : "Frankenstein's creature in a garden full of roses". I just LOVE Frankenstein's creature, he's moving, touching, so I had to give it a try.

I'm a huge fan of the original Frankenstein by Mary Shelley - and of Kenneth Brannagh's movie which is, in my opinion, the best adaptation ever because it shows perfectly how the creature is nicer and more human than humans themselves. It shows the cruelty of our race towards different people. And that's honestly the most scary part of this story. What human's darkest side can do.

So you understand I'm definitely on the creature's side. To me he's a nice guy who went bad because he was denied the right to love and be loved. This is why the idea of him in a garden of roses sounded so terribly CUTE to me ! I had to do it ! I decided to go for a "closed" compo, to have a kind of frame, the roses protecting him from the world -though the spines are here to remind us it's not all about happiness and fluff-. I chosed old-school roses, inspired by some classic tattoo designs just because I like them and I didn't want the illustration to look too much like a Harlequin book cover ! :} However, old-school roses are most of time bright red to suggest passion, while these ones will be colored in baby pink with very soft lights and shadows. Because it's cute and yeah you can draw gay porn and have a feminine side, especially when it comes to Frankenstein's creature. This character is my sweet tooth. Oh, this is why of course he looks so sad and desperate on this illustration ! Because, you know, pop culture changed him into a monster, and that's unfair : the monsters are the ones who rejected him !

It's a little difficult for me to draw when I'm not home, not only because, even if my family is the most tolerant ever, it's not always easy to draw smut when there are a few people around... I mean you gotta have some concentration to find what's gonna be sexy or not, what's gonna be interesting. But I'm like that I just can't stop drawing. ^^" Anyway I decided to post these linearts because I can't color them here, no Wacom babe !

"If you're going to San Francisco"... a classic but hey you're gonna meet some gentle people here ! I got this idea yesterday, during an interesting talk with my sister. I said that we should go back to the flower power, and that a new hippie decade would be good for all of us, over-stressed people. That we should start by spreading the Free Hugs movement. And so, that I would, as a good capitalist, get a lot of money with the Free Hugs placards I sell in conventions. XD But I also realized I never drawn a hippie guy, which was such a pity : long hair, flowers, peace and love and a good load of "happy ciggies". Now that's what I'd need to relax these days ! ^^ For information, I'd like to make a peace & love sign on the van, as if it was spray painted.

Here come some close-ups because I'm afraid the drawing is a bit dark without colors -plus, this scanner is not my baby so he's a bit picky, I'm not used to it- ! Sorry the line art ain't perfect at all and I hate when the computer ruins my smooth lines.

Flowers, flowers, flowers ! It took me some time to draw all this but it was pretty relaxing -no I wasn't high !-. I loved to make a complicated background, a la Art-Nouveau, behind his simple Jesus-like face. It's gonna be beautiful, and psychedelic, well I hope so, when it will be colored... if it's colored one day, oh my, this bunch of little details scares me ! ^^"

Let's make a jump, thirty years later, a few thousands kilometers away from here... somewhere in some barrio of Honduras, Mexico or Guatemala.

"Chupa, cabron !" Another of those pics I enjoyed to draw because the ideas came up all by themselves. At first I wanted to draw two guys from the Mara Salvatrucha (MS13), one threatening the other. But then I realized it would be interesting to represent the eternal rivality between MS13 and Mara 18. However, it happens the MS13 gangsta is forcing the Dieciochero BUT it doesn't mean I'm supporting one of the two gangs. If you ask my opinion, they both suck ! ^^" So, well, it was more interesting to draw two enemies. I'm not into non-con but for once it was kinda necessary. Because that's the way it is in the gangs and it would be ridiculous to put romantism in such a picture.

I've had the idea of a short porn comic with mareros for a while but I don't know if I would stand to draw all these tattoos several times. These guys... they are oh so not gay ! The paroxysm of the so-called "latin machismo". When I see such homophobics guys I just wanna make a gay porn picture out of it. They claim they aren't fags but they hug tightly and tattoo themselves, stay stucked to their hermanos and have a strange vision of personal space. Which reminds me of a scene in the movie "La Vida Loca", where a few guys are having a party for someone's birthday. They smoke, cigarettes and weed, and they blow smoke in each other's mouth... this was clearly erotic, but they aren't gay in the barrio, mierda ! :}

As for the title, it's a veeery lame wordplay in Spanish, my last Spanish teacher would hate me even more than she used to. ^^" "Chupa, cabron !" means "Suck, fucker !". But it also sounded a bit like 'chupacabra', (the goat sucker) it's an urban legend, a creature that attacked animals in Mexican farms, a kind of vampire that sucked their blood. Booo my humor is getting worse every day !

I think this part can be a bit confusing without colors so I wanted to show a close-up, with the gun, the eight on his face is the half of "18". And a fancy haircut just because I like that ! :}

Classic, old-school and terribly not original web on his elbow. At least it shows he endured to be inked in this very sensitive place but that's all. Anyway I like the tattoo on his butt "Puta" means "whore" in Spanish. And with a gothic font it looks quite great.

I'm leaving to my parent's house in a few days, for the holidays, and I'm enjoying every single second with my dear Photoshop because I will miss it, oh so terribly miss it ! ^^

Long nights spent in the car, waiting for bad guys to show up... the guys found a way to have a good time anyway. I'm not fond of uniforms, not fond of authority (my parents were rebels !) but big US cops with donuts abusing poor consenting young agents... that's kinky enough for me. I think I wanted to draw the donut and the cap, the rest is just "dressing". I have to say that, while designing the older one, he came up looking like Logan's characters, so I tried to escape that influence not to copy his style, but I can't deny a little inspiration anyway.

Wrestling ! I love wrestling ! Actually, just like most of people in the world, I prefer USA wrestling. Gimme Edge, gimme Undertaker, gimme The Rock ! *rawwwr* In USA, for example with WWE, they make real shows, there's something as exciting as cinema, nasty stories, guys cheating on their girlfriends, revenges, bad guys who win... French and Mexican wrestling are a bit too serious for me, it's not funny. But Mexican wrestlers are definitely sexy with their masks, hiding their identities... mysterious guys are hot.
I drew this one to practice a bit anatomy and a different position. I tried to make them look more muscular than usual, more beefy, just like wrestlers. Also, I was happy with the colors but I tried the sepia version and realized I prefered this vintage look, like these old photos of muscle men from the beginning of 20th century.
In Mexican, wrestling is named "lucha libre" which means "free fight", and this scene depicts a very, very free kind of fight, nope ? ^^

Metal VS Reggaeton

Whaaatever ! Metal vs Reggaeton ? Come on, they are both great ! :}

That dude wasn't really requested by my sister -who technically hasn't reached the legal age to see this illustration yet-, but she casually said she would like to find some sexy pics of a hairy dude, slightly chubby, pouring beer on his torso. Okay, okay, let's not play with words, he's pouring beer on his cock but it looked better like that, the composition was much more dynamic with the beer splashing on his dick -and hoping I won't sound too pretentious, this is one of my favorites among all the cocks I ever drew (along with this one).
At first I wondered if I was going for a "true evil" one, with a whole pint of beer but it was funnier to use a bottle and cliché tattoos. The title is inspired by Tenacious D's song because coloring this during insomnia, around 6:00 A.M, I needed a good soundtrack. Very inspiring ! ^^

Reggaeton will be represented by my boy Mateo. I don't like to do this but for once I will compare, Mateo a few months ago, in a similar position :

I love to call him my boy, he's my little favorite of the crew. Probably because he's the sluttiest. The position was inspired by a few different pictures but if I could save only one part of this illustration, it would be his feet. In French, the expression "to take your own foot" literally means having an orgasm and this is what I felt drawing those feet. I don't have a foot fetish but I would lick those for hours. I went for a nearly black and white background to contrast with his amber skin. I hadn't drawn the blings and graffiti-styled caps for a while, I missed it a little bit.
The title is "Ready to use" because the condom is already installed, you just have to sit on it ! ;-)

Just as yesterday, you see I wasn't lying when I said I was in a chocolate/New Orleans mood. So here we are, another piece I'm really happy with.

It's been a while since I started to think about this picture. I wanted to draw an old jazz man -could have been a blues man with an harmonica but the big golden saxophone was more appealing ^^- and a young black vampire. And here they are. For the oldie I was inspired by some gorgeous black and white portraits of black musicians you can find everywhere on internet -and in my dad's books, I remember being smitten by a man with dark eyes... one of the most powerful photos ever-. It's pretty cool to have a really old character for once and I enjoyed it so you might see some more in the next weeks. Uh, did I say the saxo was more appealing ? HA ! Next time I'll draw an harmonica, silly me ! It'll be easier !
As for mister vampire I went for huge fangs and he chose his haircut himself. Why blond ? Just to make a good contrast and... come on, black guy + blond hair (+ optional fangs) = SEX, or do I need to take some math lessons ? The dude isn't wearing anything, though perhaps he's got something around his knees where we can't see it. You obviously noticed the colored strings of pearls. They are given to girls who accept to flash their boobs during New Orleans Mardi Gras -a thing I find very interesting, if I ever had a chance to be there I would end with a bunch of necklaces ! ^^-. I let you imagine what mister vampire did to get those !

What's the most ironical is that New Orleans is, in foreigner's, and even American's minds, considered as a highly erotic city. While the original town of Orleans in France is known because it's the birthplace of Jeanne d'Arc, a very famous virgin.

Don't mess with voodoo...

My dad, who strongly believes in voodoo, would disapprove this drawing, at least a bit -but not too much because I didn't mention D******- anyway, I did it, take it as a late teenage rebellion or something like that. Or just the will to draw mystico-gore stuff and sexy chocolate dudes.

Zombies are fascinating, and here I'm talking about voodoo zombies, "real" zombies, not the Hollywood ones -yeah, yeah, Romero and Jovovich you're both great but this is serious business !-. It's the voodoo (Animism + Catholicism) equivalent of the European (Judaism + Catholicism) myth of golem : the creature. With the medicine explanations it sounds so real and you can't ignore that perhaps, it might be possible ! Not to totally bring someone back to life but to make someone's personality fade until he becomes your thing, and obeys your orders. When you see how some drugs can change people's perception of reality, why wouldn't it be possible ? This is when strikes the mischievous idea that if you can take control of someone, on a sexual plan it can be interesting ! -Fictionally of course !- Anyway... ah, if I'm here babbling about this illustration it's because I'm glad when I make a drawing that kinda, you know, tells a story.

Sure, there are too many clichés in this pic, but I had such a good time doodling the boys then thinking "Oh and what if they were in the grave ? Oh and there would be a dirt heap and a shovel because the witch doctor actually unburied him ! Wait, wait... I'm gonna add the cross to show it was a grave, but a very poor grave so it would be better with a very humble cross made of wood." And I love when my mind is like that, it's just like a drug. Ssso addictive ! *purrrrrs*
You can't really tell where this scene takes place. The witch doctor's nearly African outfit and the very poor cross evoke Jamaica, while the terribly French name suggests it could be New-Orleans. Which makes me think, my next illustration will be two black dudes in New-Orleans but that's another story. In French, "Aimé" means "loved" and now you can see that he's showed some love !
The zombie looks a bit like a Hollywood zombie, but honestly, if he had looked like a "realistic" zombie, it wouldn't have been really gore, nor funny. Idem if the witch doctor had looked like a regular guy. However, the zombie is quite calm, relaxed, submissive and willing to please his master, as zombies should be, he is not some hungry monster who wanna eat his brain.

So, that's all for now, be careful with the guys you play with and sty tuned for more chocolate goodness. I was in a New-Orleans mood these days. ^^

Back in the game, right in time for Christmas

It's not a secret at all, I'm just coming back from a very, very bad month, I mean artistically speaking. Even though I created, and extended my possibilities, I felt really baaad for weeks because I wasn't able to do what I wanted to do... and that's all the problem of art blocks, you don't manage and you don't even want to do something, etc... AND I finally let it behind me so here I am, all happy in front of my screen. Here we go !

Let me introduce you Santa version 2009. Don't ask me why I always see the young Santas as blond, long haired guys. I like him because he made me come back to my good ol' gay porn illustrations. He was the twist I needed (him, and the fact that I told my tattoo artist about my drawings, that I was doing gay porn and all, and that he found it very interesting, it was terribly refreshing to talk about it with someone who's not from this background but who was very understanding and interested even if he's 100% straight).

I honestly don't know when the idea of drawing a pirate hit me, but I think it was during my art block, so as soon as I felt better and was able to do a little something I laid my hands on him again. I hesitated for the background, the sky and the sea would have been good but I wanted something darker. Ok, ok, the sky and the sea at night would have been darker but here you can see the bad side of the dude, imagine all the ships he sank to get this treasure. Yeah it's kinda bling-bling ! ^^ And he's a redhead because we most of pirates in fantasies are brunettes I don't know why... -probably because ALL of you nasty boys dream about Captain Hook !-

What's up today ? Well, very different stuff than what I usually post BUT since it's about guys having sex with guys, it's totally appropriated for this blog. :}

First, the super porn star Buck Angel !

I really love him, let's say it, he's The Man. This is why I wanted to make a fanart, you know what it is, when we artists wan to make an "homage"... I thought for him the simpler, the better. I'm not used to draw pussies, especially so exposed, but I'm happy (read : aroused) with the result. Of course, I'm also glad of his face, and his damn tattoos ! (To be honest I'm not fond of his tats, dragons, tribal... not my kind) As for the background, I thought a red and green tartan-like atmosphere would be virile enough and suit his red brows that make him look Scottish.

This one is a commission for (the very generous) Rangarig who wanted an elephant and a dragon -non anthros and cartoon styled-, inflation, some bondage and he didn't care who would be on top. I decided that since usually dragons are bigger, everybody would expect the dragon to top and so, it was more interesting and original to get Mister Elephant to top - Rangarig was okay as long as the dragon didn't look too small and too young-. We both decided to let them have balls even if for the elephant it's not anatomically correct (I have to admit I prefer with just for the balance it gives to the picture), but we removed nipples. And I drew my first dragon peenie... I decided to go traditional, well traditional in a furry way. Because it's stupid to change something that works. :} They both ended super cute doing very naughty stuff. Ah, I'm going to hell for this ! ^^

Elephants, just to change...

I said a few days ago I loved to draw little cartoon styled hippos when inspiration wasn't here because it's quite easy, entertaining and make a good distraction. However, I since tried elephants and I find them even more interesting, though they are more complicated to draw. But I like the flow you can get in the composition with the big floppy ears and especially the trunk. Hippos are made of three or four circles, but elephants have those circles and the wave shaped trunks and ears.

I wondered for a while if I'd post this one on my "all audiences" gallery but after coloring him I thought he was a little provocative anyway. I'm glad I found a good trick on one of my usual layers to give him these slightly pink ears and cheeks (both cheeks). However I don't know if the red on his ass is the result of a sunburn or a spanking.

For this elephant I decided to use the exact same tricks as the previous one but I have to admit I felt a little uncomfortable ; he really looked too cute, like a cartoon, and really animal too and I felt guilty for making it porny. Fortunately I loved this picture anyway or I might have abandoned it. One side of me is a little uncomfortable, and one side of me loves this huge cock, these soft round balls and the shiny little spotlights. Blah, I'll get over it or get used to it.

Tonia the falkner

New commission for Dinosaurprince. Tonia is a kind of... whatever-saure (I don't remember, sorry ^^").

I had a crush on Tonia when I first saw him a few weeks ago (I think it's all about the scales ! ^^) and told Dino who was nice enough to commission me. He wanted Tonia in the desert with a kind of Bedouin suit... except it's much sexier. At least he won't have sunburns on his face !

I loved to draw his tail, it's hot, sexy and the scales are really cool. Enjoyed the open boots too, they are quite stylish (and inspired by my very first source of inspiration, those who really know me will undestand... I think we can't forget our first inspirations). I also like the shape of his abs.

But the falconsaurus was the funniest part, I used a falcon as a reference and gave him a prehistoric style ; we could have gone for a pterosaurus but it was more interesting to create a brand new creature. I wonder if it helps him hunt food or sex mates (or both). ^^

Primeval hippos

First, a quick doodle I made of Connor Temple, the cutie from Primeval ; no photos refs used, just the show while I was watching it on TV. If you're a Primeval fan, you'll notice it's his season 3 haircut. He looks chubbier than in the show though. It was just a little try. Come on, aren't Abby and him super cute ? I came to really enjoy this show... OK I came to be a tv show girl.

These lil' hippos aren't really smexy but they are a part of my anthro art so I decided to post 'em anyway. When I don't have much inspiration, these babes are great, you just start to doodle three or four circles and then build a cute hippo out of it. This is just a kind of concept, maybe one day I'll do something constructive with them.

Criminal Minds for a clever girl

Aww sorry I don't post that much, neither here or on the Y!, but everytime I come back from conventions I have this kind of art block... I drew like a bitch for three days, with straight deadlines (like... uh twenty minutes to half-an-hour ?) and so coming back home and not having big projects to focus on led me to this kinda art block. Of course I've had things on my mind, a commish for Dinosaurprince for example, that I shall post tomorrow if everything's okay, and some projects for Christmas... anyway !

Tomorrow my best friend is having an important day and I wanted to give her a little support with these two fanarts of the show Criminal Minds.

Here you have the sexy chocolate Derek Morgan and the über-sexy geeky Spencer Reid.

In my style, which make them cartoony-looking. I hope I got the main characteristics of the boys... honestly they were very difficult to "catch", especially Spencer whose face is too special. He doesn't look at all like the twinks I usually draw, he's got one of the widest smiles I've ever seen... Derek is just an average gorgeous black guy so I think it was relevant to my skills. ^_~

And for those who prefer "real men", we have the 'omg-poor-baby' Aaron Hotchner and the 'old-but-not-cold' Dave Rossi.

As you know, typically not the kind of guys I'm used to draw... I tried to get their faces (but keeping my style because portraits are so not my thing !), especially Hotch's frowning and his half-smile ; if you watch the show you'll understand why it's worthy *pinches Aaron's cheek*. I'm just terribly disappointed because of their size difference... they weren't really supposed to be standing next to each other, they were just chillin, having a comfortable moment. Well let's say you KNOW Dave is sitting on a chair or I'll make seppuku, 'kay ?

Anyway I'm happy with these two pieces first because except for Dino I haven't been able to draw something decent for two long weeks, then because since I've started to watch the show one month ago I haven't managed to make a single fanart and it was getting terribly frustrating. >< Thanks to the boys, they finally been obedient and just for the right occasion. Hoping these two pictures will help her to have a good day tomorrow ! ^_^

Chibi commission

Last week I was at a manga convention in Paris ; on my booth, while selling my Usagi Kira goodies, I was making quick commissions. The most popular commissions were the "You as chibi" offers, I drew 57 people as chibis during the week-end.

This guy, Marc, went to get his chibi (watercolored if I remember well) and came back the day after, just to ask if I could draw a new one with a better contrast to put on his business card. I honestly told him it was pretty hard to have a good contrast with watercolor, well, not enough to be printed on a business card, so I suggested him to do it on Photoshop ; he agreed and here we are ! He still has to give his approbation but here's the first try.

Uh, uh it might be a comic page but I might be wrong. I don't want to post the progress, I don't want to show too much hints until this short story is done but it's gonna be the very first time for Javier and Ka'eo with real panels and bubbles and all so we're both excited ; here's the sketch of page 2. You'll notice Ka'eo's new style with shorter hair and stubble ; and you can't see it here but I totally re-designed his tattoos, they're a pain in the ass. I'm not ready to make a comic about mareros... (well I say that but I'm having such ideas since last week... >< if I did it, it could be awesome, dangerous but awesome !)

I wanted to keep this drawing for later but I just can't stand to stay for so long without posting completed illustrations, it's frustrating so I'm sacrificing this one. I suppose this one will remain an exclusive of my website and of this blog, because of Chabela's presence on the left, she's a girl, she can't be on Y!Gallery. Or maybe in the Extras, I'll see. I'll wait before posting this on my website too, I might change a few things but I'm not sure.

It's the first picture I make with all the members of the crew. Some of them are a bit out of character but it had to be sexy ! I love how their bodies came out. Big-E (#2 on the left) has a perfect round ass in my humble opinion, but Kae'o's belly is cool too (#5). Plus, notice he's got shorter hair than before and this stubble suits him, he looks more like a boy and I prefer this version. I like Javier's uncut cock and his muscular stomach (#4). Jesus and Felix are cheeky and funny. But my favorite is Mateo (#3) for sure, I don't know what happened between my hand, the pencil and his body but I like the result more than what I expected. (I probably have affinities with him because he's the slut of the hood ^^).

I also made a sepia version, I can't seem to decide which one I prefer... what do you think ? And which boy is your favorite ?

Btw, they are Cuban, Dominican and Puertorican wannabe gangstas, not real dudes with real problems, but it makes me think tomorrow I'm going to see the movie Sin Nombre. Hope it's gonna be a good one.

It's my birthday and I do what I want so here's a little present to myself. My boy Javier, a character I created about nearly one year ago. I don't draw him much these days (well yes I do but I don't post it, it's a sort of surprise...) and I wanted to gift me so here he is.

I decided to go for this simple style first because it was supposed to be a quickie, a little sketch, nothing too complicated, and because yesterday for my b-day my lil sister bought me Anthony Gonzales' fantastic book "Bronx Boyz", the kind of book that make you think "Damn ! But the proportions are not always ok, the hands are sometimes a little weird and it's only about color pencils on brown paper bag but these illustrations are so tight, so intense... !". You don't need the damn Photoshop to do something efficient.

Unfortunately, I'm not that good so I used the damn' Toshop but this papi was quite obedient and so here's my own little present. *licks the cum on his ass*

Another commission for Dinosaurprince (I know, I know, again... but what I draw for myself now, I can't post it yet). The first time I draw his new character, Zainer Nova, half-grey, half-human. The pose was one of those I suggested for our first piece with Otnorot (the blue one). But instead of Space Cadet, this time I drew Zainer. I didn't have much inspiration for the background, since it's a basic bathroom but Dino suggested some Space Invaders references, and I immediately went for it because I just came out of the hairdresser and guess what ? My hair salon, Space Inv'headers, is decorated with a bunch of Space Invaders, pop-licious and geeky objects ! I was glad to create one more time a very colored universe, I love funky sci-fi.

I have to say for a long time I wasn't interested in anthros and furries at all. Because when you say anthro on the internet, it's mostly related to furry fandom, it's often about cats and dogs, or close felines and canids and it looks like basic bestiality. I was blocked by the fact you don't see that much original creations, so I didn't feel like trying to create. Until this summer, when I re-read the wonderful comic Blacksad...

The first anthro I drew this summer (I mean I have drawn many animals and humans before but this one was done in an anthro mood), though I'm gonna make another post just for the Jungle Babe drawings. But I post GD here (Gorilla Dude) because I love his round face, I'm glad I managed to make him look so nice. A bit naughty but nice and gorilla-looking at the same time.

What I noticed reading Blacksad was that animals are fascinating and you recognize good anthros when there are in the same time the unique characteristics of the animal and the interesting expressivity of humans. So I decided to draw an anthro I didn't see in Blacksad and it wasn't easy because I think Guarnido drew nearly all of the animals that exist. Camel was a very good practice.

I'm not a boy but I imagine it's something you would all enjoy, to make bubbles in the bath with your cock, right ?

Camel-boy is back ! And he's exhausted. I think this would be a sadistic exercise to ask a young animator to draw an anthro camel running.

Cartoony beefcakes ! Or hippocake and rhinocake, sort of... I wanted them round and tiny as if they could fit in my pocket.

These tiny dudes are sooo expressive ! I love to work with them, they make me practice body language. Especially the tiny hippo ears wiggling.

Finally, don't ask anyone if they think about uncommon animals, or you might end up with "angler fish" or "monk fish" ! But it was a cool challenge, I loved to make them look nice while they are considered as ugly fishes. ^^

Dinosaur Prince's Kingdom

Could I really join this community and not make a post about my commissions and collabs with Dinosaur Prince ?

He's well known on Y!Gallery and appreciated for two reasons : he created his own universe full of funny and sexy characters with unique features and he supported the community, the artists, commissioning them and showing he loved their work. BUT I don't wanna lick his ass (as we say in French ^^") it's just to explain briefly the situation. And after all, he talks about us on his blog with such kind words, he deserves it.

However, here are the few commissions I did for him.

Our first time together, a few months ago. There were a lot of misunderstandings, mostly because of language. Let's say I usually understand English but when it's about hybrids of humans and prehistoric creatures the vocabulary get a little too complicated. Plus, Dinosaur Prince thought I was from Caribbean and didn't have no clue I was French which led to a strange situation. We eventually understood each other and I'm still very happy with this picture.

Capcom fanart from a game I've never played and honestly I've never heard about before this commission. The most difficult in the making of this illustration was the lack of references. You can't find good high-res pics of Rikuo and Donovan. In the end, what I absolutely loved doing was Donovan's suit. These primary blue and red parts have something childish, something terribly "video game" that I love.

Every time I look at this picture I wonder how Dino came up with this impossible cross-over. I think he surprised everyone with it ! Being a big Little Prince hater... (well not a hater but I just can't stand the book the teachers tried to force me to read when I was a kid, while I was reading more interesting and complex books) I'm glad because I don't want to punch my version of him in the face. But I don't really like my Space Cadet. Could have done much better. :/

Prehistoric boys again ! This was one of the pictures that drew itself on the paper. Seriously, I tried a few positions until this one came up and I crossed my fingers, hoping Dino would like it because I loved it. Fortunately, he enjoyed as much as I did Dimata's huge smile and Romer's athletic pose. And being myself a fan of uncut, let's say I really had a good time drawing the mammoth's trunk. ^__~

Space Cadet again and Dino's original alien Otnorot. As everyone noticed, I had a lot of fun drawing these two, you can see I spent a lot of time on the background. Everytime I was adding a little spotlight in the ship I was like "Oh no, another detail to color !". Don't say it too loud but there is still something that annoys me a little with my Space Cadet. I don't tame the character. One day I'll manage and be satisfied !

This one was not a commission but my entry for a contest by Dinosaur Prince, so it had to be in this post ; after all, the ideas of prehistoric creatures often come from the same person's mind in this fandom ! I didn't win the contest but I enjoy this illustration so this is some kind of victory, after all.
